Thank you for telling the price, almost all the other rc you tubers won't say the price. In this economy, it's most important thing!
The ting is that I'm happy for all these new models as it means that our hobby is safe. Great looking and and working crawler. Thanks for showing. Ciao Nanni

Awesome video and review! Some other great looking RC there too! The FJ55 is killer!
Thanks again for the excellent reviews!
Nice overview. I think RTR first tests should be with the included ESC and motor. I wanted to see how it performs with what it comes with, then how it performs with what you put in as upgrades.

Yes! Fyi, all the true technical rock course testing was done with stock esc, motor, tires and foam. It is here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/X4Z1pJSkpsLdmLA.html You can see how the drag brake is not as good and how the tires kind of fold under load
If I were to recommend an RTR for anyone looking to get into 1/10 crawling, THIS IS THE ONE ! I have had nothing but joy building and driving my Vanquish products, Top Shelf all the way around !

Good review, I appreciate the truth without a sugar coating.
I have the portal kit already and was considering getting the straight axle one that way I can have both 😁. Just ordered a RED one right out of your link, glad to be a bit of help for your channel. And by the way, your channel is the best 👍

Much appreciated. It’s perfect for the times too, and a tough economy.
You convinced me to get one before they run out. Also got the gray but I've got a Jeep Cherokee hard body going on it. My first 1/10 crawler was a Redcat Gen 7 Pro that I got last March. So I'm still somewhat new to the hobby.
I'm using your link to order one right now Thank you
I can’t wait to see you do comparisons to other rtr’s!

Great to hear!
Nice review! Are you going to do a shoot out comparing the straight axle to the portal version?
Waiting on the top 5 upgrade video
It's a industry changer for sure. With that said they should of added 2 cheap servos for the dig and overdrive and charged 499.99. To me it's an incomplete RTR, more of a RTR Kit hybrid. Regardless it will usher more competitive pricing in the industry. If a big boy can bring something like this in under 500, no excuse for Traxxes and Axial to follow suit.
Great video excited about this new release I been looking at getting a more performance orientated rtr and this might be the one… if possible on the next video do you think you can point out what you have to do to get the fusion pro to fit into the rig personally for me that the motor I would get for it..

I just had to trim the down the upper front link mount a bit. Fits great
Vanquish knocked it out of the park with this rtr. At that price with that platform it can’t be beat. Why would you go with anything else? Great video
Damn. I was about to get the kit. Are stock electronics high-performance enough? I might just get the RTR and do a custom exterior paint.
Great video Frances... but I really would have liked to see the first run box stock and not already upgraded. That said I love your videos. My first choice in rc news. Thanks for sharing. John
They can do it because markup price is insane and they are all ripping us off 😄
great video. what battery was used during the stock test?
Wish you would do a video on setting up the TR-1 transmitter. I just got this crawler, put a 3s battery in it and it goes crazy. I know I could install a Hobbywing fusion I already have and use that esc to set parameters, but I'd like to try the stock motor and esc first. The manual is no help as they only use acronyms for everything without saying in plain English what each parameter is.
That’s nice
Where’s that top mods video to do to the phoenix. Been looking forward to that!
Would of liked to see a stock review of it.
I know there are a few different internal setups in the transmission, does this version have the metal bearing plates and the components that are the kind of quality we expect from Vanquish? Or has the transmission been a spot where they cut corners to meet this price point? I'd also like to k own more about the included transmitter.... all of my crawlers are on separate radios so they can be driven at the same time , so this one really appeals to me... I think they've done well with this truck and I might just have a Vanquish in my collection soon because of this truck...
Nice. I'll stick with my Redcat Gen 8 Axe though, as the better RTR ( not at this price point ). Not sure if they still make it though. 5 channel radio / Reef servos, brushless motor/ ESC. The thing is a tank.
I ordered the same color and I really like your rim choice. What rims are those?
Ohhhh snaaap!
Love my Vanquidh VS4-10 but time will tell 🤔
Sooo nice 🤤 …kit or rtr 🤔
Which ProLine wheel set would you recommend for an upgrade as the better choice for an even grippier touch???
Hey seriously considering picking up this rig! Would the half cab body fit on this chassis?
did you have trouble lining up the hole in the single bottom screw that secures the trans to the skid plate?
What wheels did you switch to? Thinking of this for my first RC car.
Best value in crawling today. Hands down. Throw a beastly servo and a fusion pro in it. Done deal.
I remember when everyone was praising the Team Associated Element Enduro. How does this one compare?
Been shopping/researching my first crawler for over a month. I think this may be the one.

So all the test video on minute 8 on the rock course was all box stock. motor and tires.
what motor and esc do you recommend with this? Is it true the Fusion does not fit without trimming?
When asking for someone to do a video of 110 what you need for break down all the way through you know to the build and what it would take for now I know all I got to do is get this upgrade to Holmes Hobby brushless motor ESC and some brass and I'm in there
I don't wanna piss off people here but rc prices are generally ridiculous, big names are great for sure, but I stick to brands like RGT hands down.
This rtr should have had the portals and both servos included. At 500
May I ask what wheels you are running there?
Do you have a video on the RTR transmitter?
hello . could you give me the links to the wheels and foam that you used . will i need adapters of any kind . thank you .
Any chance you do a video on how to install the fusion pro?
Does it come with the links I would need for the OD and dig servos?

Could you put this truck on a high-low chassis
I am looking at getting another crawler but I am trying to decide between the Phoenix or the Fordyce. Anybody have suggestions which one to go with pro cons portals or straight axles? I have been all axial so far but think it is time for a change.
@RCReviewChannel
8 ай бұрын
Fordyce!!! since that body is so much more fresh than the many Phoenix versions. Portals if best for performance, especially in rough, obstacle strewn conditions. Straight axle is more scale. Since portal bodies sit higher with the higher shock mounting positions, many good companies use shorter shorcks to equalize the body height with straight axle versions.
What's that little white Fj40 looking truck?
Weird, the body is one of the things that draws me to the vehicle.
Cheaper than a trx4 and 10.3… yet it’s 1000x better than those 2 combined.
This Vanquish or Element ecto? What say you?
So comes equipped with dig and overdrive built in?? Just install servos to make them work? I'm sorry I've been out of the hobby for a few years and wanna get back in. Lol

Ya it's bad , I mean good !
I'd like to see more simple rtrs. Single speed divorced transfer case portal axles like the gen8 but stop giving cheap bodies plastic links and no inner fenders. The base camp wouldn't be bad if it had inner fenders no body posts and why did they switch from the front mount battery
You shouldn't have added the heavier wheels and hotter motor for your testing; it's not longer a controlled review of stock form.

You're saying it's the best crawler on the market today at that price, but you put upgrades in it to get performance out of it. so in my opinion that's not the best crawler on the market, it makes it more expensive than most of the others once you add upgrades.
