I'm amazed that anybody should criticise how you look after AJ! He has an amazing life! Our boy passed a year ago, but we used to have people telling us we should let him off the lead without knowing anything about him. Like AJ, Marley was with us 24/7 (always one of us anyway), and had loads of walks every day. Meanwhile, one of the people criticising us for keeping him on the lead would leave her dog alone for 8 hours a day and only walk her on weekends.

I don't react to much but when it comes to him and Summer that's my point 😆 we care about them and they are part of our family so we will only always have their best interests at heart for course 😀 Sorry about your boy, its so hard when they leave us 😔

its your Job to look after your Dog .... and you do it very well :) more people need to understand they are responsible its never the Dogs Fault !!!

I'm only 3.33 in but you shouldn't need to explain why aj isn't off a lead. My dog is never off a lead because he will not come back and he's not good with other dogs/would chase livestock or deer if he saw them 🙈

Thanks Catrina, we have said that will be the first and last time. I just get a little frustrated when it comes to AJ as all we want is for him to be happy, healthy and ok, especially as he was a rescue 🙂🙂

And only you and Emily know what is best for aj. I have been told its cruel not to let ison (German shep) off his lead so he can run, my answer was okay, so when he sees a dog/sheep/cow/deer and takes off you'll go get him then and explain to the very angry owner/farmer? I wish ison could have off lead time but he can't do we don't as I'd rather he didn't get shot, run off in the hills and never ce back, or attack a dog

People need to back off a bit sometimes. You’re doing the right thing to protect your boy. Plus he’s living an epic life going on awesome adventures with his two ‘hoomans’ who couldn’t love him more and keep him safe. ❤️

Great video. With the pizza, why not try putting it in a flat pan, no oil, and cook the base for five minutes. This will make the base crispy. Then under the grill to do the top. I’m a genius 😀

Totally agree with your comments about AJ, it pees me off that some people think dogs must be off lead to enjoy themselves. You are keeping him safe and he is getting so much stimulation from sniffing around all these fabulous places. Well done on another great vlog 👏

I totally agree with you about having a dog who is so passionate about hunting on leash. My dogs do as well have massive prey drive and are long distance chasers, forgetting about everything once they hunt. I would never be able to forgive myself if I would cause them to let their lives in a accident or if they would hunt their prey down. As they were younger they had the chance now and then to go lure coursing after artificial lure (of course) but for now, they are old and the drive is not that intense anymore. So short sprints after crows on a fenced field are good enough. Oh, and they wear GPS trackers, just in case...

Yeah it can be difficult, we have just upgraded AJs tracker ready for our trip well his and Summers 👍

I get this all the time with my Siberian Husky, 'why don't you ever let him off lead', AJ has that prey drive they are notorius for so don't let anyone tell you any different. Took mine up Snowdon last year, got halfway before we gave up as he wanted to eat the sheep and trying to haul back a 32 kg dog on a lead is not fun.

Hi guys can I make a suggestion regards 14;50 hope this is OK, apologies if it’s not, filling up clean water tank, the water left in the pipework from the mains to the tap you used could have been stood for a few days. I normally run any tap for 1min just to make sure the pipe/tap has been flushed and disinfected prior to using the water for washing or drinking. I would also I’m sure that Em will clean the connectors after use then store. I appreciate you may boil it before use but all flushing beforehand will only help. It may also be worth when you get back to the UK to buy some disinfection tablets to soak in your clean water tank prior to using it again and not bleach. If you need any further info drop me a message. Take care and be safe folks...👍🏻

Hi ya, you can always make a suggestion, not saying we will listen 🤣😉 Totally agree, when filming there is some behind the scenes stuff you don't always see, we are very conscious about the water and the cleanliness due to me (Em) who always gets a dodgy belly if not. We clean so much and flush things through but for certain shots its easier not to put that in but we do always welcome any suggestion 😀😀😁

Hi girls yes that's exactly what we say about our kids (pets) they have a fantastic life travelling and we had a whippet that was on medication as he broke his leg when he was a pup and it fused in a running position so we could only let him run for a short period of time then put him back on his leash. I can understand Emily missing the U.K. , after I spent 4 yrs in Cyprus, after 6 months you miss the British roads, the green countryside, the shops etc but you get used to it and you appreciate it all when you get home. Hi guys, it's deffo the husky in him, makes him stubborn too! We had another husky mix as well, he was always off but luckily with him the German shephards clever side kicked in and we could train him. Unfortunately AJ's other side is a daft staff 😂😂

I was really surprised that people asked why you didn't let your dog off it's lead. Firstly it would be really stupid in an unfamiliar area, secondly if you have an adopted / rescue dog like ourselves it is often written in the agreement that you keep your dog on a lead at all time in public places, this is to stop it roaming off and being lost. Keep up the good work guy's we really enjoy your videos.

I think you are really responsible dog owners, living on a farm here, the damage dogs do to live stock, even if they don’t actually catch them is bad as the sheep especially go into panic and just run , they then injure themselves really badly. Also walking a dog on a lead is good exercise too, it exercises different muscles :) I think AJ won the lottery when you picked him, would love to hear his story sometime :) you can definitely see the staffy in his face , I think :)

Yeah unfortunately the weather has not been on Lous side when it comes to the drone 😕

I think I now what Em means with being homesick, I lived in Germany for a while and at tiems it was the familiarity of home i missed, being on roads you knew, bumping into someone you know when you nipped out to the local shop. It passes and what you are doing is far better than being at home

That hunting attitude I know well from our first dog, a terrier mix...she once got to hunt a VW T4 at the other side of a field, she was half over to it as she realized that it was a van, made a u-turn and came back with a really innocent expression..."nothing happened, it was just a short sprint, no hunting involved..." 0:-) The most creepy for the tunnel in the hill was the amount of toilet paper stuffed in one corner... :-P Had such a laugh at the magic pizza...thx for that! Have fun!

🤣🤣 our German Shep used to be like that, its that look when they come back like what it wasn't me I was just sniffing haha so cheeky right. Oh god I didn't even see the toilet paper 🤮 glad you enjoyed it 😀

I've been going to Spain for over 20 yrs as my father has a static in El Campello which is inbetween Benidorm and Alicante and although we have been driving out, (I can't leave my dogs behind) sometimes twice a year by car mostly but last 3 years by MH I've never seen Spain the way your video's are showing me, amazing video's and your both so funny, and love aj so much. Going to get my husband to watch your video's to convince him about off grid parking. He's very much all about campsites 😭 which have their place but would love him to be more adventurous, fingers crossed your video's work their magic on him 😁🤞 That park up with the lambs could be in Wales, stunning ❤👌 xxx

Hey Cathy, yeah you should definitely get him to have a look as pretty much most of the places we have been a MH could easily get there as well and being off grid gives you so much more opportunities to explore and see so much more. Good luck in you mission to convince him 😁🤞

@@campervibe thank you but don't think it will be that hard when I get him to watch your video's, it's a no brainer. The places that you've stopped in, waw, the scenery, the privacy the feeling of freedom it portrays and a bonus the money that is saved. That's the whole point of the motorhome to me, the freedom and being able to travel without breaking the bank 😁👌 I see a lot of negative comments from people looking down on mh's/campers/vanners etc when asking advice for off grid stops, stating if you can afford a MH etc then you can afford campsite fee's. That is so not the point always and yes I invested in one specifically to be able to travel and see places without having to fork out for hotels etc anyway sorry going off on one now 🤣🤣🤣🙈 Going to pin him down now to watch your video's and take him to spain from the couch, whet his appetite and let him think it's his idea to do what your doing 😁👌 xxx

Love your vids girls and just to let you know you can get Bisto gravy granules in Carrefour in Spain, I know because I bought some today in Carrefour Denia, you can also buy them in Dealz if you can find one near you, plus loads of other UK stuff, it's run by Poundland

Hey, thank you. Yeah I found a dealz the other week and got pit noodles, chocolate fingers etc but couldn't find any gravy in there. I will keep looking though, but I do have a massive pot now 🤣🤣 thank you though its always good to know 😀😀
