Hi Nomi, glad you made it safely through the initial flood waters & that you followed your instinct to not go through the second pool of flood waters. I’m just reaching out because I did a simple google search regarding if you can replace your acid batteries with lithium batteries in your Thor RV and google says “YES”. It indicates it can be done quite easily. Now with that said, I’m no expert on RV’s and I don’t own one but always seek a “2nd opinion”. The tech you spoke too sounded like a “Mr know it all” and was rude on top of that. My suggestion is too research it a little further and go scroll down thru your comment section because your viewers seem to know their stuff. In the meantime, safe travels my good sis ❤

There are plenty of other vanlifers for any audiences that just want adventurous "travelogues." Your channel offers more, and I think that is the main reason it grew so fast. Also, I am surprised the man who told you to get a lithium battery didn't know they were not safe for all vans. He could have caused you major problems. I would contact that place and tell them (or him) what dangerous advice he is giving out, so he doesn't do the same to some other van owner who doesn't have such as supportive and knowledgeable a community as you do.

I can never turn down a farmer's market. They're getting harder harder to find. It seems they used to be really cheap and have really good prices but not anymore.

I love buying honey at farmer's markets
God I ask that u completely cover nomi from head to toe as she experiences van life and travels keep her safe keep her healthy and keep her positive 🙏
be safe and my prayers go out to you and the people of Michigan 😀
I don't know much about batteries but what about something like a Jackery and a solar panel on your roof to supplement power.
Glad you’re safe. The guy from Thor tech support was kind of rude when answering that question. Wondering if that’s really true. I would do research. Have a blessed day. Hugs
I love ❤️ to sleep and rest while it rains ❤
You can make Paella, is made with rice and seafood and plenty of spices, you can pick whatever spices you like and what you don’t like just leave out. You’ll love it, I drench it with spices, Yummy. Good Luck,
The storms were crazy and so many roads flooded!
Hey Girl, I’m currently biking vicariously through your videos. I’m from Michigan. I’m hoping to be living the van life soon too. Keep on rocking it… your amazing!! ❤
It came to me this morning....someone should produce a tv show featuring you and call it the Van Life Chef - Cooking on the road...
❤❤😊😊❤❤ Your hair grows so long so fast, it looks good.
I would've cancelled the appointment and gotten out of that area... you never know when/where the water becomes overwhelming... and floods...
I was caught up in that mess on Thursday morning too. I was in a small car, so I had to keep turning around and adjusting my route. I’ve never seen anything like that - it was CRAZY! Glad you made it through.

Glad YOU made it through too. I'm from Tennessee, never been to Michigan, never met anyone from Michigan, but when we heard about the tornadoes and floods we prayed for all of you. We get our fair share of disastrous storms so we can relate.
Please don’t go back through those roads until they have drained honey. God kept u safe through this Blessings 🙏
Time for a new battery if they only last a year. Them floods are horrible, remember your vehicle can float in floods. Be careful!
I love your market finds. Anytime fresh vegetables are available, I love.
People don’t know how bad we got tore up here in Michigan. Man the front of my house looks like that raod you were on. 🤦🏽♀️💪🏾🙏🏾
Sazon is one of my favorite seasoning!
Watching you drive through the water was stressful. Glad you're okay.
The mill looks delicious. I think I would’ve diced up a little bit of tomato to put in there. thanks for the advice and parking when traveling my issue is is I am older so I have to get up and go to the bathroom what I did the last time I slept in my car is I went to a race track they had a huge parking lot and I asked if OK if I parked out on the side where there was nobody parking and they said it was fine so I was able to get out when I needed to go to the bathroom. They even gave me free coffee.

How thoughtful and kind of the folks letting you stay in there area. Bless you.
When I heard of the tornadoes I immediately thought of you and your travels. Scary drive thru the flooding 😮 Happy you made it safely 😊
Glad you are safe.. it’s crazy that Michigan still hasn’t fixed the drainage issues after all of those floods we had during the pandemic.
I can’t believe there were regular cars driving through that!
Nomi you're awesome! Love how you were talking to your van when driving through the water❤you're a very inspiring person, and life is life, things happens weather you're living in a van, house or an apartment! Much blessings to you 🙏🧡
That first drive thru the water could have been a flash flood (like moving water that took your car on a ride). I'd say turn around or pull off the road but it looked like there was no where to go that wasn't water.....
Hope you don’t get any more floods. Love your videos, can’t wait for the next.
Reschedule your appointment. Storms and flooding everywhere!
When you have no ideas to start cooking a dish, there’s no need for trial and error. The internet has tons of recipes for rice and seafood dishes. When I want to cook something I’ve never attempted before, I check the internet for ideas and then start putting things together.
I can totally relate with not resisting good fresh organic farm grown food/veggies :) Good job on that seafood rice! Looked delicious.

And the prices are so much better than the grocery store. Farm stands always have great prices
Thanks for sharing your journey in a realistic manner. Extreme weather patterns are the norm worldwide and people need to shape their van life intentions based on that reality.
Please don’t go through the high water, you risked your home!!! Other people are only risking there cars, you’ve got both sweetie!!
That first bite of seafood rice was the bomb 💣.
Look into a Jackery power bank
That seafood rice looked amazing. There is always something to learn watching your videos
Nomi has growth as a vanlifer and a natural hair lifer. Did I miss a video when she got her hair braided. I was in 😲 when I realized it.
A realistic day-to-day sharing of your life is awesome. Don't ever feel bad that it's not something else. We love your vlogs because of your sharing & your personality, etc. You go, girl.😊
TY 4 filming 🎥 walking 🚶♀️ out -- entering -- leaving an area 🌳 - etc.
24:33 🤬oops 😂🤣
You know it's good when you have to take your glasses off to eat it.😅😅 That Sazon' seasoning is good. You can put it on almost anything. 😋 Be safe out there.🙏🏿😍
The water views in that city are amazing. Glad you made it through.
I giggled when you said “so that’s the farmers harket mall.” ☺️
You are so sweet! Your care for other's is incredible. Continued blessings.
Loving the braids boo wow your hair grew so fast u look great 😊
Stay Blessed and safe out there Nomi.
Nomad, your meal looks delicious and you know how to use spices! Great navigating through all that water and so thoughtful of you to consider the parking at the ER! Safe travels Nomad!
Hey Sweetie glad you made it through those floods!! I'm a westside Detroiter and we caught hell from that storm!! As always love the vlogs stay safe❤❤
Happy Saturday Nomi. Glad you are having safe journeys. Be happy and safe my friend.
Thanks for showing the ingredients that you used as you made the rice.❤
Little flour in water cleans muscle
Great video that rain was brutal but I am glad you made it to your appointment and you found out about the batteries and didn't get them installed. Your Van is beautiful and I'm very happy you read up and called Thor to double check. Anyway great video and I hope you have a great day. Stay Safe and God Bless You. 💜🙏☮️
Whew! Horrible rains & floods. Sorry u had to endure that mess. I knew your van would kick butt through it, tho. Glad you're ok! *I've been away for a bit and I missed you! Gotta do some vid catch ups, but I'm glad to be back "with" you. Hope u have a nice weekend 😊
Omg girl !!!Those Roads looked Terrifying 😮Unbelievable the amount of Flooding you all got. Please stay safe friend ❤
Wow ! going through those flooded roads I felt as if I was with you in the passenger seat willing you on ,you did really well and kept your cool ,love your videos always feel like I'm part of your journey xx
Stay safe. ❤️🙏🏻
Wow! What a trip! Glad your safe. Your right, Jesus has your back!!!!! And, thank you so much for all those yummy first bites you gave me. So kind of you to share. I’ll definitely be making some of the seafood rice ala Nomi for my husband. God bless and enjoy yourself. Marie.
I don't know how long I held my breath when you traversed those roads. Oh my goodness! Thanks for another great vlog!
I was on pins and needles watching you drive through the floods. I would have been too scared. You are a trooper Nomi. Glad you're safe. Hope your appointment went well. Take care hon until next time.
Don't drown turn around!!! That is a mantra never not risk driving through standing water even with high profile vehicles you can still be swept away!! be careful
Watched the whole video before commenting. Ugh (😩 😩)on the lithium battery news, a little disappointing but now you know. Watching you ride through the flooded streets made my anxiety level go up. Glad you made it out of that safely. Lastly, your video was like a warm cup of creativity for me on this overcast day in the bay. Hope your doc appointment went well. Be safe, keep on trekking and God bless.
Thanks so much for sharing your Van Life with us, we love you. Praying for you and your journey. So glad you made it through the flooded streets. Oh and the Seafood rice looked so tasty, I must try some myself. Carry on girl ❤
I can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I love being able to travel with you. 😊
Sazón Preferida: Preferred seasoning 👍
SO glad you're safe. My morning routine is watching your routines lol
Girl, I was worried you was gonna choke on them huge shrimps. I just went down a huge rabbit hole learning how to heimlich maneuver myself! Looked good though!!

I am so glad there is a little device now that can dislodge food from your own throat or from someone else.
❤❤❤😊😊😊 Oh, girl, you're driving in that rain brought back some traumatic memories. I was in New Orleans the year the Andrew hit in 1992. Yeah, long time ago but I had a 4 wheel drive and I drove home the next morning. I was a nurse at the hospital all night but I want to go home in the morning to check on my cat. My apartment make sure the wind is weren't blown out. And it took me about 4 times as long as it usually does to make that drive. I'd like to think I have nerves of steel. But that was a nerve wrecking drive just like you experienced.
Be careful out there to much rain.😮😮😬😬😬😬😬🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣😬🙄🙄🙄🙄😬😬😬😨😨😨😨🥺🥺🥺❤❤❤
I was sooo nervous for you girl! So glad you made it through.
