I was afraid she was gonna get choked. My sister has to have throat surgery next week cause food gets stuck in her throat and she has had some close calls, had to call the EMT once. I was thinking Nomi cut that food, girl.

My brother is in the military and he eats this way - It’s a hard habit to break. He showers super fast as well and is always ‘ON’ and ready to go at the drop of a dime. He once mentioned being in certain situations where he had to eat while running because there was no time for stopping. Their training and experiences stay with them long after they leave the military and I imagine she is no different. Thank you for your service, Nomi 🙏💕

From a friendly room attendant never put your bag on the bed if there was bed bugs you transfer them little critters to another home

I can imagine the shock to your system coming from the Upper Peninsula to Texas. The heat has been unbearable this summer all over the Southern states. Happy travels!!!

Hi. Future tip: Call housekeeping for cleaning supplies. Marriott has mantra to 'Give Them the Pizza'. Just ask and they will do what they can to accommodate. Comet for the tub is an easy request. Cheers!

I spent almost 70.00 there. Everything was amazing!!

This hotel is our favourite to stay in, no matter what state we find ourselves. Their staff is outstanding and so helpful. Even if you are not a breakfast person, check it out. There are a number of choices you can take with you for the road such as yogurt, muffins, danishes, hard boiled eggs, PB&J pocket sandwiches, fruit, bagels, mini containers of peanut butter, jam, cream cheese. Safe travels!

Hey Nomi, another nice location and I think it's good that you "treat" yourself to a hotel once in a while. The food looked great and hope you had a "cool" night's sleep in the hotel.

I know, when she was in Florida she literally spent time like a block from where I lived, went to high school, and spent many years. It was exciting.

Grandparents lived in Galveston. Parents grew up there. We visited probably every other weekend, and I lived there for about three years. As I got older we had a beach house across the ferry in Crystal Beach. Glad to see u enjoying the beach. If u want really good seafood try Gaidos! Not a chain and the absolute best! A bit pricey but so worth it. Oh, this was probably filmed a couple of weeks ago. 😢

Love Crystal Beach area we go every Thanksgiving! Bon fire on the beach, music, beach buggy (convenient) just can’t beat 🤗

Rudy’s has the best chopped brisket breakfast burritos; please try them before you leave the state. Also, The Kolachie Factory, the sausage and gravy kolaches ….so good.

Cake pops will never be a cake consistency because it's crumbled up cake mixed with icing so it's a fudgey/moist textute (some think raw cake). Those looked absolutely delicious

Any time you show up to a hotel early, I recommend you check to see if your room is ready. If it is, hotels will let you check in sooner than the official check in time!

I am a born and raised South Carolina girl and SC is not known for beef BBQ. We're known for pork BBQ with a mustard/vinegar based sauce. If you didn't try that when you were in SC you need to give us another try 😊

@Nomadic Introvert -Nomi, get you some Hibiclens (or CVS sells their hand soap that has 2% chlorhexidine in it instead of the 4% that Hibiclens does and it’s only like $3-but you can get both from a drugstore, Walmart, Meijer, etc) and always keep it on hand for hotel trips. I have a skin disorder and Hibiclens is antimicrobial. I use it in the shower, in my laundry and to sanitize surfaces.

Not sure it will ever fully recover.. since Insurance companies are leaving in droves. If I were to DO Florida & the coastal South ... I'd do it ONLY in Winter, in a Van.
