Eggman is there as the member of boys trio and Vanilla is also mentioned in WOS. But yeah, it would be interesting if Shadow also met Exeller in the game

Interesting. I hope neither of Eggman or Shadow are the creature who invaded Sonic world there. If it can change his form to anything it wants, no one can guarantee that it can't be among those three. The game is actually interesting and the animation of Vanilla speaking is awesome! We can't say anything about that until we know the truth about this exe. But the shapeshifting of this guy makes me feel careful about both Eggman and Shadow. At least I would be if I were Vanilla, of course

In the previous video there was a theory in the comments, that Vanilla had died because of Eggman... If this theory is right, then Eggman must be that entity and is just pretending to be normal to kill poor Vanilla... and I can't even imagine what he did it with Cream in the meantime (Forgive me if I made mistakes in English)

Having Shadow the Hedgehog as an important character for the plot makes this exe game more original than many others. I think Shadow the Hedgehog has a lot of potential, and the majority of the exe community developers don't use him by any means.

Mephiles and Infinite both share many similarities to exe in their own way (one basically being a demon and the other being a reality warper), and Shadow has been able to deal with both pretty well. Infinite did manage to do something to make him absent for like 6 months in Forces, but still didn't kill him. When he's around it just becomes harder to justify things going as bad as they usually do in Sonic horror games. But then, the same can be said for characters like Tails and Knuckles who keep getting massively downplayed just so they can be killed off.

That's because shadow is too strong to fit a narrative outside of the cliché everyone dies type of games(all sonic characters are but it's easier justifying an exe killing cream than shadow),same reason to why sonic is the one being possesed.

@@galanga21890 but like it's not like all EXE AUs have massively downplayed characters if anything there's actually some AUs where the main characters have some thick plot armor to survive along with the villain wanting to play with them like in the NU games from Jaiz koys

Finally Shadow gets a huge role in a EXE game. I hope in the future Nightmare Series and Spirits of Hell Final Round Shadow is the key to defeating Exetior and Exeller.

The images are almost 100% AI (characters are recognizable but feel "off" in some way), it's just a walking simulator, the game doing things to your PC is a red flag (remember Gather Battle?). Yeah, this one is so mid to me lmao

I was heavily dissappointed by the AI art but the gamejolt page DOES tell you in advance that this game will do this kind of stuff; it's also more acceptable here as the trojan-like activities serve the purpose of increasing the scare factor and discoiraging people from backing off. Gather Battle however was a trojan virus simply because the dev didn't like people ripping the sprites from the game despite the fact that they weren't even his, such levels of pettiness are off the charts This game has its flaws but it does NOT compare to the bs that was Gather Battle

My theory is that this shapeshifting "entity" is us, the player, as the appearence we are taking is Vanilla herself (not sure what would have happened to the real Vanilla tho, as we don't have enough details of the abilities of the entity, if the entity could take control of someone's body like a generic exe demon, or simply just copy their appearence, or just maybe the real Vanilla died as implied in the game), that explaining why "Vanilla" would be normally walking around, without a care in the world, because she's the one to be feared. And maybe, the Eggman's jumpscared could be our POV while killing him after infiltrating the "safe" place (though the jumpscares are hilarious), the sentences we get after collecting an emerald being of our own, as if we were slightly regretful, and looking around for some type of answer. Or it's just Shadow, that guy is just too sus. That's all I can think off, maybe I'm looking too much into this, and remember, this game has a imposter among us.

Maybe its still a bad ending? Because what i understand is that eggman said shadow and him on the safe zone right? Then why at the end of it is him jump scares when you do not type "shadow"? Maybe they where still killed? Or did they live? Anyways good vid

Eggman said the entity can take whatever form it wants, so presumably it can use Eggman's form without infecting him. I'm interested in what the developer has planned in the future

That was a great discovering! You´ve managed to find the parts of the puzzle and solve it, i like to think that this little community of the channel have helped to make it.

Theory: Vanilla in SoH (I think) after Cream escaped, Maybe Exeller killed Vanilla bc she failed to kill Cream, imo, Eggman maybe got possessed so he was pretending to be normal, for the other survivors, the thumbnail and the title of the prev Vanilla game looked pretty good but it looks like it happened in the story..
