consequences are julie will never find her romeo as much as make up your mind dude:fill up on junk so you are too full for a healthy snack or wait. He never knew sophia so he invented a personality for her, so this is about narcistic persuit of conquest.. Give it a year and he will be treating sophia like julie when the novelty wears off.

i watched this moive on dvd so many times! it never gets dull.

Ugh! I absolutely LOVE this song. It's amazing how much sadness they can pack into an instrumental score. Everything about this movie is just brilliant and I will never understand the people that sh*t on this movie except to theorize that they, themselves, didn't understand.

Dreamy, enchanting, drifting, and just beautiful.

There is something about THIS movie. It captures the frailty of humans emotionally and physically and how no one is immune to it even the wealthy "top of the world" character Cruise plays. And to be honest this song hammers that whole feeling home. GJ Nancy Wilson.

it is my favourite film!!i can't replace it...i found a lot of interesting band like sigur ros too that gave soundtrack..this 2 september i went to their concert in verona ,italy..it was awesome...everything in that film is amazing ..i don't know why..maybe cause it let us dream far from the reality..finally this clip with this song touch me in my soul...

To me, this movie has meant alot. In a sense, an eye-opener. If you liked this movie alot, I believe you should see The Peaceful Warrior. the concept is not quite the same, but the insight into personal morals and values play the same. I love Penelope and Tom's chemistry in meeting one another and discussing silly/nonsensical things. I hope I come to acquire a love like their's one day. Not as short-lived though. just a relationship that inspires...and brings out everything=)

watched this very underated film last night for 3rd time and it finnally clicked,then watched top gear and they were both guests on the show. awesome.

my favorite movie too. touches on the most important things in life.

That was a very beautiful tribute to a very beautiful film.

You know, I first saw this movie around the summer 2005, but at the time I didn't think too much of it other than "Interesting." Through a series of coincidences related to music, I ended up watching the movie again in October 2008. Even though I hadn't seen the movie in over three years and hadn't even thought of it in that time, beyond all belief, I still distinctly remembered the first four notes of this song that play when you hit "Play" on the DVD menu. What a remembrance that was.

it's about life and death, lost love in the past which could have cruised. little things matter and mean too much also.

This movie is a true masterpiece, it's not a romantic video in the traditional sense but it's a sci-fi, drama, mystery, totally beautiful. Benny the dog, brian, tech support, the psyciatrist and finally the elevator.

I just like the song. Romantic part great but rest of main character story line was grotesque & yet beautiful I need to tell u I still didn't see movie. I've seen bits & parts. He turns his whole life into pain & her life. I can see why & yet he should have had some fortitude inside himself to keep on going. But with problems with the brain It's difficult.. whoever doesn't agree please explain. Actually I shouldn't have an opinion, I didn't see it.

wow!! i had a lump in my throat the entire time! you have really captured the essence of this movie! amazing job. have been in love with vanilla sky from the day i seen it :) has a feeling to it i cant explain :) but the looks between the 2..those moments...how he looks at her vice versa ..its more than a movie.. its a love affair lol :p hard to find movies that have the effect as this one does..truly amazing! and really well done on the video mrsbalboa!! was beautiful.

Ha, all these comments. I was 15 when this movie came out in theaters and it truly changed my life. I was young, lovesick and vulnerable. This movie seemed like it was made for me, and the revelation of the last 10 minutes was so utterly heartbreaking. I'll never forget the impact this (sorry, I have to say this) relatively mediocre film made on me. It helped inspire my love of film.

Such a powerful, powerful movie. Thanks for the interpretive video. It is beautiful. Like and onion, the layers of this movie just peel off and the more that you find that you find relative to yourself within the story line the more another layer shows you even more. I find myself when I am most lost, needing to watch this movie again for my own personal reminder of what life is all about. Are we not all living our own lucid dream of one kind or another? Where is the line drawn between?
