Finally someone who said it - there was Maarja's voice in Tough Enough.... i thought i misheard... First live in years. I was so sad when i heard autotune...

I, Eduardo, don't like it, but I understand. Now, when they go on tour next year... if I play playback like they've done in the past, I'll turn my back.

I was only 6 years old. 2005 there was a concert in Tallinn, which I attended, and before that they did one interview for one magazine- where they said, that they always try to sing live whether its possible. And when i saw this, it was so disappointing... Maarja's voice is so recongnizible in Tough Enough...

@@ChrisScott0 I was hoping that they dont do this teenage stuff anymore you know...nowadays even pop stars are singing live...this pretending thing just makes me cringe, I was just soooo embarrassed to admit that this is from estonia...I am not proud of this band , I just wanted you to see far better atrtists who are from estonia, Lenna really should do her own stuff by now...she had good thing going she doesnt need models in the backround...:D she is pretty enough :D

Not all venues allow live singing, but it looked the place that would be live. It’s hard to tell with Lenna because she sings perfectly or even better live, but when live she gives more power and is natural, this sounded weaker as on the CD. :( The drums were live, the guitars connected, but even with filling sound it was soulless like studio. Also Lenna looked unnatural, was overacting, trying too hard as if she wasn’t comfortable faking it. We all know Lenna is the brilliant live singer and she sings live solo every week. Triinu was missing, but that wouldn’t have made the big difference anyway. All bands fake it and are sometimes forced to fake it, but you’d expect on the first main comeback performance to sing live and prove they still have it, even if they use support music. Great to see VN performing. Great show, new costumes, good songs, drums, flames and firework, but I wouldn’t want to buy a ticket to listen CD edits.

the place they are singing TOTALLY allows live singing :D trust me I am estonian :D they have even had there "estonian idol" finales that have tobe sung live I have seen sooooo many live performances in this event, at this point you are just fangirling over Lenna :D I am just pointing out that there are soooo many muchmore talented singers from estonia and I am sad that people think that all we can do i lip sync and look pretty, Vanilla ninja did only their first concert on live and then later when they came from eurovision they started to sing more live but now they are back to their roots,congrats!...whjole band was just 15-18 year old girls who couldnt sing, never wrote their own songs only copied others, couldnt play their instruments and band was even put together by some producer who told them what they have to wear and how they need to do thei make up and etc....sooomanufactured , this is not quality music , sorry, yeah as a 6 year old girl it was cool but now as a 27 year old woman this sounds like whaat?

@@ChrisScott0 maybe Brandes doesnt let them sing live....I mean they were little time with someother company during the "love is war" era and I remember tnat then I finally saw them singing live, I thought that now when they comeback , Lenna is soo muchmore competent now than she was 14 years ago and shouldbe more comfortable on stage but maybe its their producer who doesnt let themsing..just my thought

@@HK-gm8pe Lenna has been on stage singing live on camera since aged 4, and she has always been competent, and as you say she is very much more experienced now. Who knows maybe she had a cold and bad voice, or as you point out maybe they weren’t allowed. Maybe Brandes thought not to sing live without Triinu, but I personally would have thought the opposite. 😄 Well tomorrow Friday hopefully will be Incredible.

Well.. What's the point standing on the stage and completely lypsyncing as well as using playback for the instruments.. There's no point going on the stage if they don't want to actually give a concert. How disappointing

This was estonian music and movie awards of 2021 so i m happy they gave performance here and if ur real fans u would never comment this much negative. They were amazing and always will be and its normal also do the playback of old songs , cos many love the old ones also. And lenna voice u can also lissen here not only playback.

Its only playback. And of course people wanna listen to old songs. But why shouldn't they be live as well? Your comment makes no sense. But its not their decision to do playback. Its pop business so they'll always be just puppets on a string. And many venues cant offer a live performance

@@bullet2602 they will also start to give live concerts , but not this year , they will start 2022. And in this awards of 2021 they needed to give this type of love and they just join back so.

I think it is better, when it is unverveckt, but realy live. This was "only" Playback, exectly the same sound then the music video.

It's Vanilla Ninja's music and they bought their name and rights, plus the case went to court. They were banned from performing in Germany etc for a while, but they've always publicly played their old songs in Estonia. Brandes did make it difficult for them, but now back with Brandes that's all behind now anyway. I suspect it is much deeper detailed and not made public. So I don't know.

Why was it Playback? Maarjas Voice and Triinus Voice were defenitly to hear

Yes, but there was also Maarja Kivi, who left and was later replaced by Triinu Kivilaan. Then for a long period just the trio here. Triinu Kivilaan returned for this new album 'Encore'.

This playback was too ugly huh! It's a hell of a lack of competence. I, as an artist, would never take a fucking thing like that. To play playback, I would stay at home and ask a DJ to play the CD.

Still disappointed in playback - they are all incredible singers... even u can hear the drums more than singing during Cool Vibes, which is an actual shame. I hate that our own estonian girls were pulled a paper bag into their heads and were forced to playback.. I know that, since they gave an interview, where they actually said that they never wanna lipsync and they always wanna play live. Shame that our own estonians did that to them...
