I was literally building the Skaven Vanguard as this video came up, great timing!

Aye! The Disciples of Tzeentch box didn't make sense for 3.0, but for 4.0 it seems to make much more sense :D As you don't choose to focus your whole army on 1 thing as much anymore, and more about picking parts of your army to get some buffs, and if you only take daemons, still only a part of your army gets the buffs. Really like this change a lot! ^^

My random thoughts and comments on these: BoC ... they just might get Spearhead rules thrown in with their index rules. They are not cut completely right at the start of 4th, so there is that. On the other hand: OOP boxes did not get rules for Combat Patrol when 40K 10th dropped, so there is a good argument to be made to remain doubtful. DoT ... I really like this one, ESPECIALLY because of the "random mix". You get regular mortals, mutated mortals, two kinds of Daemons and a wizard character - a great showcase of the fction in my opinion. And Tzaangors kinda belong in here - this is not 40K, and a single unit of 10 is fine either way. Overall you get a good amount of models (both units of 10 with all options), good variety, and gameplay options straight out of the box. Would recommend! S2D ... No-brainer for any beginner, since it is 100% useful. I don't like the monobuild Chaos Knights, but at least the box comes with the command sprue. The chariot is a multi-build kit, so definitely a cool thing to have twice. Another good one! Skaven ... I did not check EVERY region, but this box seems to be "sold out online" for each country I looked at. While SCE apparently get two Spearheads, Skaven seem to be getting "only" a completely new one with the 4th edition launch box (similar to 40K Leviathan and Marines/Tyranids). Still, I think this box provides a solid start to Skaven, and was definitely worth getting twice. The Clanrats are a bit boring to build, but have all their options, and Stormfiends plus cannon/catapult are really nice kits. The new Spearhead has to be good to beat this one!

A few comments on your comments :P About BoC: I still would not recommend anyone getting into AoS to get this box. Sure, you could potentially play it for about a year (officially, no one is gonna bust into your house if you play them still in 2 years time) but you are buying into what is effectively a dead army (at least for AoS). Slaves: yeah this one really is a no brainer. Personally I got this box together with FOMO army box when it was released and every single model in it is a good unit.

@@Morrodin182 Oh definitely not recommended BUYING into BoS for AoS at this point, for sure! Not my intention to suggest so. I just hope GW throws existing players a bone by giving them Spearhead rules for the (still current) Vanguard box. They probably won't though.

I am not sure if you are joking or not, so I'll answer properly. When I make these videos, no matter if you are part of the community for a long time, or whether you just found the video by accident, I consider all my viewers to be smart and responsible. That includes you. Making 2 minute disclaimer in each video reminding people that buying new plastic is bad because they have 1000$ of unpainted plastic right next to them would be incredibly boring and useless, because these people know they have a pile of shame. Lastly, as far as these boxes go, they are going to stay around for a while longer. They are only going to disappear once the respective faction gets their battletome. I mention this in every video. So if you sit there and get FOMO vibes from the video, you should probably take a step back and evaluate whether it's actually the video giving you FOMO, or GW themselves. I am just here talking about the boxes for people who are interested in them and who might not know that they are going to get replaced once a new battletome for their favourite faction arrives.
