WELL forPETES sake I I totally agree I lost my son from an accidental death I wanted to die I have never felt pain like I did when my son passed. But through Christ Jesus who strengthen me and therapy I was able to go on with my life . But not a day goes by without thinking about him and missing him.

When my grandpa died, I was composed during the funeral because I sobbed like a baby all week, all day. She cried out all the tears she needed.

She probably cried it all out after a lot of crying you get to a point where you just don't have much tears left to cry. I keep her and her family in my prayers. Losing a loved one is hard enough i can't imagine losing your baby and hubby at the same time :(

This is healing for her and an essential part part of the grieving process. Although still in pain, today she's probably feeling much better.

I love that she started her speech with "Gianna Bryant IS an amazingly sweet...." She didn't use "was." Anytime a person dies/transitions, we say "was." We are souls having a human spirit. She feels her presence in this realm strong. I'm sure Gianna and Kobe were up on stage with her. Their spirit lives!

@@matitzarobles7971 Sorry for your loss. A person has to be extremely strong to speak at a loved one's memorial/home going service. When my mom passed no way i could speak at her funeral. I just stared at her laying in the casket. I was motionless, and quiet while my uncle tried to pull me away. I didn't even realize that the service was starting. You are a strong one honey!!! To imagine having to speak at the memorial of your child is even more devastating.

One amazingly strong woman.Her husband and child died and she was able to stand up there and give eulogies.Look at Michael Jordan, crying like baby for a friend.That is when I cried.Just looking at Michael.Yes Vanessa is strong.
