You can tell that this was extremely tough for Jordan. He knows how much Kobe loved him and respected him. He was looking so forward to many more challenges (as we’re we all) with Kobe after basketball. God bless Vanessa and Jordan for their love for Kobe (and the fans).

I still tear up. Vanessa was definitely his Soul Mate. She understood and understands what the Mamba Mentality is. Natalia is filled with that strength also. How they handled this in public is a testimony to how great of a mentor he was to so many.

Everyone who lived the 90’s especially the late 90’s knew Mj like to hang out with 3 guys, 2 he considers his little brothers, that was Derek Jeter and Kobe Bryant, he’s on video calling them both his little brothers. The other guy was a golfer named Tiger woods. That was the crew, MJ, jeter , Kobe, and tiger. Kobe didn’t go out with them as much after he got married.

Kobe passing away is one of the saddest moments in my life. Although I didn’t get to see this man play. I knew how good he was. All I heard was KOBE when shooting. Kobe Bryant is my favorite player of all time and plan on wearing the number 8. He is in heaven looking down at his family and friends with his daughter Gigi. I can’t believe that this man passed away, but despite not being there for his speech. His wife and his idol were there to celebrate his achievement instead. His presence was there and everyone could feel it. This man is a legend and will be a person I will talk about when I have kids. I was lucky enough to start watching basketball the year he won his 5th championship, I was only 9 and was still understandings the rules but I remember it like yesterday. Absolutely phenomenal.

My first laker game was is last game in New Orleans and took my Lil bro. And surprised him and wanted him to see a G.O.A.T and my favorite player in person. We sat 11th row from the floor. She bribed him for even more money in 2013 to stay married. And after his tragic demise, she filled the void by suing and getting money from the blue collar workers who had to clean up the toxic dump site that resulted from her husband's stupid decision to fly to a little girl's basketball game. Anyone who's ever read about her knows that her and her mother were after money, and Kobe liked paying for hookers. She was the Queen of them all, and he had the deepest pockets. It feels just like yesterday that Kobe was just starting his rookie season. Time goes by so fast. Even though he played for the Lakers the team I hate the most it was a pleasure to watch him his entire career. RIP to one of the greatest ever.

But it’s just not fair that Kobe wasn’t here to give the speech but Tim and KG were just because they live in cities where they never have to take helicopters because they can drive just about everywhere!

Everytime I watch this I wind up In tears. I come back to it every now and then for motivation. Miss you Kobe. Your wife is an extremely strong woman. Respect forever to Vanessa and the Bryant family.

Not to only lose your husband but your daughter as well is just gut wrenching. Vanessa is so strong, kudos to her for getting through that.

Man, it's so unreal to still believe Kobe is gone. Duncan was my favorite player growing up, but Kobe was a close second, it's just so hard not to appreciate not only his game but his persona. Amazing athlete, amazing person. R.I.P. Kobe, you'll never be forgotten.

What a beautiful tribute by Vanessa Bryant easily to see aside from all of his success and accomplishments on and off the court he valued and cherished his children more than anything else.

Kobe was a monster, a legend, and one of the kind. When Vanessa started to list Kobe playing through various injuries throughout the game, and even the season...man...that's the Mamba Mentality.

2020 was a horrible year. It’s started with the passing of Kobe Bryant which was devastating and ended with the passing of my dad which has been the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with. I admire people like Vanessa Bryant. Those who’ve loss multiple loved ones and can still find it to wake up everyday. Say your I Love You’s everyday

I still cry every time I look at his infectious smile and the legacy of his beautiful family. Vanessa personifies STRENGTH, LOVE, AND FORGIVENESS. R.I.P. It was suppose to be Kobe man… I wanted to see my GOAT up there and speak his heart out. I am jealous of the people seeing their favorite player of all time be inducted to the Hall of Fame present because i will never see that in my life… RIP Kobe & Gigi ❤️

Well if he had been inducted in 2019 just like he should have been then we would have seen him give his speech! This is what happens when you wait too long to induct someone into the Hall of Fame!

As a wife and mother, I couldn’t imagine the loss but she holds it together for her other babies. I was never a basketball fan but I knew who he was. We are all human and in her eyes you can see the love and the pain. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and her eyes show now that a part of her soul is missing. He was her soulmate. Gigi was her baby. There’s nothing that can bring them back but they will never be gone as long as we remember them. I’d say, Congrats Kobe, u seemed like an amazing daddy and athlete. Vanessa, keep your head up and keep going, you’ve gotta keep their spirits alive💜

You can really see the anger in her eyes at the end, to go with her sorrow. More than a year has passed. She's justifiably so furious this happened to him and her daughter. She's also angry for the tragic loss she and her two daughters have suffered.

Why be furious? Chit happens to us all in life. Life is not all flowers and lollipops. It’s terrible what happened but many other people have faced much worse. She also has a lot of money to make her life easy, she’s not like some women who are left penniless when their husbands die and then have to go out and work two menial jobs to keep food on the table and a roof over her and her kids heads. Kobe would be alive today if he had just driven a car instead of helicoptering everywhere like he was Prince Charles or something. Also, why weren’t Pam and Jellybean invited on stage to say a few words about their son? The man is dead, bury the hatchet. I hope they are able to be a part of their grandchildren’s lives.
