i have seen jenna on youtube and i saw christina parie live. the 3 live versions i have seen davids mic was up too high, his vocals are soft on the record yet in all live acts i have seen you can hear him loud and clear i hate to be biased but of all the english versions i think Christina Parie was my favourite. i saw her in melbourne, she ripped it up :)

i feel sorry for vanessa at 3:20, she loses her breath and pierre tries to keep his shit together :P i love them both, both fantastic singers, but i dont think it is just vanessa who has a voice clash with them. i have heard a live version of sp and marie mai, and she doesnt sound right with them either despite sounding fantastic when she sung the original french version. it has something to do with the note they get the girls and david to sing during live acts

SP astronaut Are you on drugs?? Don't forget that this was a LIVE performance in front of a LIVE crowd with two Artists who have never sung together before. In an totally acoustically-dead venue. None that usual American crap here - no miming or over-dubbing. What you saw is what they gave. And they both sung the living shit out of that song. A great rendition of a great song. LIVE.

SP astronaut No-ones saying what you can and can't like. You don't like this LIVE performance, that's fine too. I'm just sick of reading all the knockers of this performance. Period. Who cares if Vanessa doesn't sound like Natasha, or Pierre was off-pitch a couple of times? All things being equal, I thought this was a great performance. Particularly since it was one take and live in a venue that is acoustically dead (I've been to a previous 'Footy Show' there). ...and Vanessa 'worked' with this song. In fact, she sang her tits off. Top performance by both of them.

Quokka57 So, saying to me "am I on drugs" all because I don't like this version is accepting that don't have to like it. I wasn't comparing her to Natasha, both girls have great voices, I just did not like this live version with Vanessa, compared to many other's that I have seen of Jet Lag. I have seen some great one's, and some not so great. I think SP did great in this version, just did not like her, maybe it was the sound, I don't know, but I just didn't like it, and it's not a favourite of other versions I have seen. I also did not like the version they put on their Melbourne 'dvd', and that chick was super annoying at soundcheck, and with David at soundcheck.

I'm sorry... I don't really like her voice. BUT KEEN FOR JENNA WITH PIERRE SINGING JET LAG TOMORROW NIGHT
