No big deal, many singers can press those notes, it just depends on the vocal range, after that there is no technical addition to increase the vocal difficulty. That's all there is to it.

once she hits the key change at 2:53 the overtones in her throat come out and it sounds like there is more than one voice coming out of one person. Incredible. I;ve never heard anybody sound like this. Where did she go and where is she now?

Natalie Weiss has an excellent technique and breathe support. I'm 100% sure she could cover this. Sohyang, Lara Fabian also have excellent technique and breathe support.

@jocriss Aretha is the one with the most similar timbre to Vanessa's. Lara may have the breath Control for that sustained phrase at the end, though.
