One of my favourite Aussie female singers. I've seen her live several times. and she just gets better and better.

WOW!!! That woman can sing!!! First time hearing her. I'll definitely be looking for more.

Look up the songs Absolutely Everybody and Shine, they were on the same album this song was released on. They were probably her 2 biggest hits. I still love them!

She is amazing. I love her.

She has had a few hits in Australia over the past 20 years. Shes not as famous as she should be, even in Australia really. Her voice is off the charts amazing. If I could have had a duet with 1980s John Farnham and her, that would be the dream

She set out to be our Aussie version of Janis Joplin, however, it was the year 2000 AKA “year of the pop princess reign” and her record company forced her to be as pop as possible. She hated it, hence her live performances being as rock and funk as possible to showcase her wanting to be the singer she always wished. Her career has always been up and down because no company ever lets her truely be herself and it’s such a shame that such a talent has never been set free and allowed to shine.

She was big in Australia around the turn of the century She can sing. But "Absolutely Everybody" is a better song.

I sung in a choir performance with her when she was 16. her voice shook us all to the core, she sounded like this at 16. I promptly got her signature

She has a great vocal range and powerful voice. “This is who I am”, the lyrics are really great and I relate to them. Also “shine” is another great song of her’s. Really great pick Kane shows another amazing Aussie talent💕

Lisa D I was at the 1999 aria awards in the mosh pit and she leans over during singing this live and sang to me. I had it recorded on VHS for years until our garage flooded. I also had me talking to Tina arena live on channel music V on Foxtel in 2001 the night after she sang soul mate number 9 on the arias. Another tape ruined.

Thanks for reacting to Vanessa! There are so few reactions to her music on the net because (for some inexplicable reason) she's not well known outside Australia. I grew up listening to her since her 2000 Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony performance (which you can view here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rH1suJugn8fRlNY.html). I think she has one of the best voices I've ever heard and I LOVE that electric guitar-like quality she has to her upper range.

She's amazing. But her upper belts are not the kind you fly on. I feel stressed when I hear them.

She can sing she well known in OZ but not a big fan of her music if I ever here absolutely everybody ever again I neck myself.
