Innovative and different than other ligatures on the market, the Vandoren Optimum Ligature utilizes the “double track screw design,” which tightens on both sides of the ligature for an even pressure allowing it to vibrate freely and evenly. Another performance enhancement included with each Optimum Ligature are three different pressure plates that let you change your sound easily from darker to brighter with more or less resistance depending on your style and taste. A plastic cap is included for storage.
