Yeah, I know you have those horrid furries which ruined our reputation, but it's nice to see they are shining new light on good people and not focusing on the bad people, and I'm embarrassed that those horrible people are even considering themselves to be apart of our fandom like just leave you bloody zoophile! We don't want you bringing us bad luck, but anyways it's good they're focusing on the good furries

It is one of the best and most respectful videos I have ever watched about the furry community. Plus the people being there was being pretty nice and funny, and their costumes were amazing!

I am happy to say it was a great joint effort from pretty much everyone to give ourselves a good image. Made me want to continue to be a good representative, and prepare to answer all questions thrown at me.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER MEDEA SHOWED THE REAL FURRIES AND NOT THEM FAKE AF ACTORS!!

Damn Straight. We need a mingle convention where everybody from every fandom can get together in a massive display or kindness and understanding.

I HATE THAT DANG CSI SCENE! IT'S STUPID, AND IT REALLY MAKES FURS LOOK BAD! It angers me so much to see furs being hated and attack over being known as 'sexual' even though over 50% of the fandom is trying to ignore that side. I wish people could see furries for more than sexual animals, because there's SOOOOOOO much more to the fandom than that.

I mean yeah, sex is a part of the fandom but it's a minority. Besides which if you look into ANY aspect of human culture you're going to find sex. There's people out there who wanna fuck a shoe but that doesn't mean every person who puts their foot in a shoe is a shoe fucking pervert. Nor is every foot specialist and hoe salesman a shoe fucker. The thing that stresses me out the most is how society views sex. People treat sex like it is a terrible thing. IT IS NOT. Why must we be secretive about it? Why must it be a threat to our jobs? Why must we be taught that it is bad and that if we have sex, have thoughts about sex, ECT. that we are terrible people? I remember when I was younger, I got caught looking at something sexual and I got punished for it. The punishment? My parent's taking away the mouse and keyboard. Why? Because I was looking at sexual content. That is the reason....and I keep asking myself...WHY? I seriously thought they would never let me back on the internet, but eventually it happened. Also, I WAS at the legal age for America. I seriously fail to see why people think that sex is so bad. I could have been participating in illegal activities, THAT is something to worry about, but I have respect for myself and my family and I would never partake in such activities. There are people who get away with Animal abuse, child abuse, elderly abuse, illegal drugs,, the list goes on and on and on...but no...none of that matters because people are having sexual thoughts about their boyfriends and girlfriends...really? The public needs to wake up and realize that sex is NORMAL and HEALTHY. Stop slut shaming us and dedicate your time and energy to something worthwhile.

Honestly, I think Furries are awesome. In my opinion, they express your love for animals (Not sexually) And they're so cool! You can be whoever you want and you feel included. :3

*IN CSI's DEFENCE* as directors, producers, writers, and actors they have artistic licence, so they are allowed to change facts to make their script (CSI is not based on real events; it is fiction) *no one ever said that episode was true or that they made it to showcase the truth behind the fandom.* PEOPLE are to blame when it comes to misconceptions about furries. They don't check their facts and/or deliberately choose to hate on folks and hence, do things like forget fiction (CSI) is not fact, or listen to the crap people give furries and not try to understand it for themselves.

A girl at my work was bad talking on furries, saying they're weird and creepy and stuff. Then a couple of girls came in wearing fluffy hats and tails. I started talking to them because (obviously, me being a furry) I wanted to talk to them. You should have seen the girl-I-work-with's expression. Her face when I just blatantly starting talking about being a furry. Priceless.

I've just started making my first suit, mainly because I want to go to ren and fantasy fairs as a gryphon, I'm in Keizer, so you're not totally alone~ I used to work in the Salem Center Mall and I saw cosplayers there frequently, as well as one fursuiter- a lion. I got a hug! That was before the Clackamas Town Center shooting though; I'm guessing we aren't allowed to go to SCM with masks on anymore.

THIS WAS WONDERFUL!!!

To see in a fursuit: If a suit has the "toony" eyes, the pupils are cut out and replaced with a mesh fabric to see thru. The more realistic resin eyes can't be seen thru, so you see thru the tearducts, also thru a mesh fabric.

You can get a fur-suit commissioned by a lot of fur-suit makers. There are a lot out there including myself.

... not sure whether to cry in joy or wail and gnash my teeth. It starts to go online now, and ruins the magic, except for the times when we get to be ourselves behind closed doors... Haven't really decided what to do about the transformation I have though, it's still a bit of a mystery to me why I can't control him, and what he's really like. He saved a child from some guys earlier I guess, but other than that I can't remember much, except the time I transformed into him in front of the whole town... I got shot again that day, healed quite nicely, and ruined some good clothes. I think I want to just remain myself, in myself for now, but I might not have any choice sometime soon. Navi... A dragon in human form, that can transform into a dragon when provoked. Or so it would seem.
