Ok so- Sexual side of furries= having a sexual affection towards anthropomorphic characters, yiffing(CoUgH)etc.. Sexual side of ANIMALS on the other hand is completely different(people always mix this up)= meaning people have sexual attraction towards actual real physical animals...(where people actually DO have sex with them)

So, I'm not a furry but I think anthromorphic-animal-humans are fascinating, just look at all the Disney movies n stuff. I really hate when ill-educated people tend to use 'furry' synonymous with 'bestiality'. The two are NOT the same thing. Just like this wonderful and informative video states- a furry is a fan of anthro animals. Sure some members of the fandom can be a bit perverted but that's true of ALL fandoms.

Actually, there is one fursuit you forgot to mention. It's called a quadsuit. Its where you're on all fours, and you walk around on all fours. I just wanted to mention this, so please don't hate. But there are also other forms of suits. There mini partials, and full partials. Heads only, there also poodling, and there's a lot more to suits. I'm not a full professional though. Albert Nave People like to spread hate and argue about everything these days especially since every fandom and community ends up getting attention from some messed up people who decide to give it something that people can accuse the entire community of (eg Porn in basically every fandom rn). Pretty soon people are going to be going outside to see their neighbour insulting the grass on their lawn for being green instead of yellow.

My time in the furry fandom has been absolutely wonderful. Everyone is very polite and helpful when asking questions and are just, generally fun to talk to! People are so mislead when they hear the word “furry.” They usually think of the sexual side of the fan base. While it does exist, there is to much more to the people in this community than the fetish side.

Yeah but.. it still exists. And a lot of furries look at it. But I mean, it's not as bad as if all furries fucked in suit/fucked animals. Maybe their first fursuit was bought with their parents money when they were a teen but other than that furries have to have a WELL paying job to keep being able to physically participate in events like cons and getting a fursuit, which by the way most furries dont have a fursuit so they just end up going to cons and only having to pay for that.

You explain it very well. You don’t explain as an “obsession with anthropomorphic animals” or an “addiction” and you actually give furries a good reputation.

not a cat person true, but I know at least one who's a total creep. She showed me her porn. It was pretty creepy, and not just because of the furry stuff. It was downright illegal if it happened irl. Furries get a bad rap, but that's because the scene was intercepted by fetish communities early on. There are still a lot of furries who fetishize the art. I remember not being able to make a decent buck from the community as an artist if I didn't draw porn.

I hate when people say bullying furries is good, or they openly bully furries. I have had a majority of friends kill themselves over people telling them that they don’t deserve to live because of a hobby.
