Van Tours: Photographer Ben Moon's 2016 Ford Transit
Спорт
Photographer and filmmaker Ben Moon always loved travel and adventure. But after beating colon cancer, he wanted a lifestyle that lent itself even more to being in the moment and connecting with people and nature. Now, he lives and works out of his 2016 Ford Transit, which he's customized to feel like a cozy cabin.

What a beautiful man Ben is. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2009......he passed away in May of 2017. The strongest man I will ever know. My heartfelt thank you to Ben for bringing out awareness of this cancer (and that bag....my husband was more concerned about his bag than the actual cancer). Ben inspires me as my husband does. Wishing him only the very best.....hugs to him and his Nori. (Wishing I could take photos of my Malaika like he does.....brilliant) God Bless.
As I cancer survivor I can relate to everything he said. Cancer never leaves you unchanged. You become more free - and more attached to life -both at the same time. Vanlife is a way of healing and accepting the change. Love +huggs
So happy to find interviews from that man... Obviously, "DENALI" has led me to discover Ben Moon a few years back...Great to see he is doing well 👍👍👍
Inspiring video! I feel lucky that it popped up in my video feed. Over a year ago, I bought a 2018 Axion camper van, sold my condo, and I have been living in my van since I bought it. It's been an incredible experience for me. Three months ago, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I recently had a robotic radical prostatectomy. So far, the procedure has been successful. Having cancer and the treatment makes you a different person. I am so thankful for Van Life, and all of the incredible experiences that it offers. I had not named my van until recently ... I named my van "Don't Wait."
He seems so wonderfully relaxed. I'm so pleased he got through his ordeal - a gentle man.

My Doctor, Dr. Sergey Sorin is a colon cancer survivor. I lost all 3 of my sisters to breast cancer and my dad to colon cancer. I'm glad you're doing well and you are an insparation to many! I'm looking at getting a Ford Transit. Hope our paths will cross.
"The more you live in it before building it out the better" No better words spoken WRT building your own van.
Great story, and a great van. Many roads ahead to you, peace.
my husband and I are trying to find a used ford transit 250 med. roof. for van life.He has congestive heartfailure and we have an 11 yr old girl we want to share traveling memories with while my husband can still function. we know nothing about building other than what we are learning on youtube. your van is beautiful and you did a great job. you are a strong survivor and thank you for sharing your story.

My favorite memory as a child was in 1960 and mom - dad and 4 of my siblings took a 4,000 mile trip touring the "west" in a 59 chevy biscayne. We'd pull over on the side of the road, pitch 2 tents and "camp". I'm 69 and I remember it like yesterday! Enjoy your time!
Honestly I feel stupid with the way I sweep my van after seeing what you did with your broom lol . Great little video. Especially your first one.
Good for you! Glad you are enjoying your passion and your evolving lifestyle.
I love your story. glad you're up and out doing what you love. great design van build.
My cancer can't touch me once I get in my van! I love that feeling,
well done Ben all the best, regards from New Zealand :)
After I had stayed in hospital and did a surgery, I cherish the time of my life more. I quit my day job and pursue my passion. Living and enjoying life at the moment is important, life is too short. Nice van and right perspective of life.
That was inspiring. Thanks for sharing your story. Peace bro !

Great profile. I have to ask, how much of any advice or direction did Ben contribute to this piece? I don't know why, but I feel I sense his character as well as influence in it
