Amazing lady, I am 83 and dream about doing what you fun ladies are doing. Was caring for my husband for many years. Now that I can go feel like I am too old and my daughters think I am crazy for wanting to do what you special ladies are doing, lol. They worry about the security aspect. Enjoy every moment, life is short. Many, many years ago my husband tripped out our van, bed area, kitchen, storage and we drove from South Texas to Homer, Alaska to halibut fish, we had a blast. Slept in our van in remote areas, it was so fun. Enjoy!

I hear you I’m 82 a camped when I was younger with tent. Loved it took my kids and went. My husband hates camping. So it’s out of question. Do it while you are able.

Her message is SO important and I'm glad she is the kind of person who is willing to express it so others can listen and learn from her wise insights: if you're **afraid** to try something new, that's okay.!! 💖💖💖 Not just okay, very often it's **normal**. Try, and remember if worse comes to worse you have alternative options. I was curious, what kind of cooling blanket is she using? I've been researching them and there are so many different kinds, I'm not sure what to go with. She's very lucky to have a husband who is supportive and helpful 👍🏼♥️

I am uploading a video now of Clara making oatmeal. It's really very clever.

Put a piece of scrap cloth under the magnet and then you can slide it to the edge of the car to break the magnet grip without scratching the car.

This one is almost over but you can find lots of women's camping groups on Facebook.

This is so awesome! I have a 2020 Jeep Compass that I would love to camp with. I would live a van but not happening, at this point. I bought a tailgate attachable tent last year and sent it back. It is a great option though. Very easy to put up by myself (I am 62 and have a back shoulder). I agree with making it happen! I would do this in a heartbeat. Awesome!

That sweet cutting board he made brought a tear to my eye, lol. Jan, I would love it if product brands could be stated in your videos, description, or as links. There are many great ideas, but some of us don't know where to start. Too many similar products online don't work, so when somoeone uses one that does (like that cooling blanket), I'd love to know what it is. Thank you for sharing this video, though! Very helpful!

Joan Fabrics has a 5 inch foam that size. That's what I have and it's very comfortable. 😊 If you need to cut it shorter, an electric meat carving knife is perfect for the job.
