You have no idea how much I wish I'd done this in college! Big regret, now i live in a van and it's great. I went into debt to rent crap student housing back then!

All well made for a single person. And the van looks also good, and not old. This is not cheap, but a good van with ho problems is important. I would add more lights and more deco inside. To feel better inside. The Buddy heater is good. But I think, at long term heating = expensive with his gas cartridges ? - I would swap to a diesel heater. Greetings from germany (middle europe)

Yeah they are moving blankets! They are fantastic for insulation, but also for preventing people from being able to see light coming from the van at night.

What kind of gas mileage do u get on this van. Also, how tall is it inside? I'm 5'6" and I was wonder if I could stand up in one.

Oof not the best haha. The best I get is 15mpg, but average around 12-13mpg. And I am 5'6" too! My dad is 5'11" and can stand up in it as well. So I think it's about 6'!

im doing this..my friend did this back in 1991.......well today he has 1.8 million in his bank account from saving all his money from van living an he will retire at 52 yrs old in 2022
