@@bushbeachlifestyle6721 I think you meant obese🤣🤣 I learned basic auto electrics in the late 80’s early 90’s, installing high end stereo systems, alarm systems and central locking into cars. It’s been a handy skill to have. I have had more completely different jobs than most, I should do a video about that one day.

@@MikesManCave That video would be interesting especially if you're now using those learnt skills on the rebuild, & saving 💩loads of cash by diying. Iheard you mention you have to figure out how to splice an extra wire into your system to run something. I have a car stereo to go into my dual cab that has 2 wires to the battery but only one can be used??? with the stock standard one that came with the car.

@@bushbeachlifestyle6721 Yes trying to get the tacho to work, needs an extra wire, it appears 93 or earlier vans had the wire and filter/plugs etc factory fitted, so it was plug n play in the older vans (falcons were the same, non tacho dash could be swapped out for tacho dash), the wiring was already in place. So it looks like I have to find a pre '93 van to get the required wiring. plugs etc, I could make something up, but I like to have it as factory as possible when it comes to electrics. Yeah with your stereo you would have to test the wires, they probably have memory wires etc.
