We used to travel from Ireland (and GB) to the continent for the weather, now people on the continent will come to Ireland to avoid the heat.

I got plenty of ideas for keeping myself cool in situations like this but I am searching for the cold situations. I know Diesel heaters are the solution but I had hoped that my van would be all electric.

Buon compleanno in ritardo Jolie, I do hope you get to see Italy I spent many happy year's there with my father and mother and brother, my cousin informs me its plus 44 at the moment in Rome and is for at least another week, so please take care of your self's and have a lovely holiday 😊love the videos you both supply 😊

Hey guys! We've met at the little frosty river right next to Switzerland, good to see you. We were the ones with the white and blue vans and the doggie(s) 🐶 Hope you got your Victron thing solved and will survive this heat. Its hot everywhere - but its way better outside the city. If you have shade, ventilation and water (to swim in too) its ok. Part of the adventure, right? 😎 🌴 If you need some support with your shower/loo thingy, just drop me a line 😂 Have a great trip!

Wow what an adventure guys, It was hot when we were in Italy in June so I can only imagine what it's like now. We had some pretty epic thunderstorms in Rome as well but not quite the lightening show you had. Definitely think you should try Canada next 😀although it's been crazy hot here as well lately in Ontario, although it does make the cold beer taste even better. Happy Belated Birthday Jodie 🥂

Well, being as I am totally unbiased but also totally on Jodie's side, I was disappointed that despite all the Victrons Joe hasn't installed aircon. I do understand that Joe tries to do his share what with toilet emptying and stuff, but he needs to up his game. (Jodie, did I get it right?)

Use Vicks Vapour rub (the smelly stuff in the blue jar!) to deter being biten, and if you do get bit use it to sooth the itch. Its available in Europe we bought it in France.

It worked for us, we are in France being eaten alive and seen a video on KZread about unexpected uses for Vicks.

Your victron will restart when its at 100% charged. Sirprising it died with so much sun

We've had full batteries for days as without the inverter we hardly get through any power 😔

Did you find out the problem with your victron ?

Haha I wish it was just drained batteries. We just have a dead unit now but we may have found a solution...

@@JodieandJoe ok sounds good. I thought I'd bricked my multiplus when I uploaded my first config and got the ess settings wrong. It wouldn't turn on or do anything. So I know that 'panic'. Never know how close to real time your vlogs are. There is good support on the victron knowledge base and a very good FB group. Plenty of dealers in Europe who can help if it gets beyond you too. Gl

Really enjoy your channel and video's but will never understand any van without a bathroom. You wouldn't live in a house without one and not having one in a van is an horrendous pain. I spent half of winter in Spain and back in the UK ever since.....all wild camping. Finding water to feed the bathroom has never been an issue.

You can keep clean in the van without a shower. It was only in the 60's before bathrooms were common place in houses in the UK and loads of properties don't have bathrooms. Being off grid doesn't mean you can never use campsites, and when you do you need to make full use of showering, charging and fresh water / elsan points.
