A tribute to the strawberry blonde-haired, freckle-faced, boy-next-door wonderfulness that was Mr. Charles Van Dell Johnson. I love this man so incredibly much! It's not much, but I hope you like it.
Do excuse the fact that a lot of the scenes in this video are from "The Bride Goes Wild." But what can I do? That is my favorite film of his and, let's face it, he has the most adorable face expressions ever in that film.

A very cute tribute, to Van Johnson. I haven't, seen a whole lot of his movies. I enjoy, his character "Red", in the Dr. Gillespie movies and also, his small moments in Yours, Mine, and Ours.

He was truly one of the greats! I don't know why but in my mental image of him, he is always in uniform. I guess it's a good look for him. :) Your vids are wonderful!

VANNNNNNNNNNNNNN. OMFG. THIS IS EVERYTHING I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I NEEDED AND MORE. I've watched this like 10+ times already...I love him sfm. And he's so underrated. Like, considering he was one of the biggest box office draws of the 1940's and 50's...I just don't get it. Anyways, this was an AMAZING video! It made me realise how few Van Johnson films I've actually seen!! I need to rectify that immediately. My favourite thing about this video was how you synced up his facial expressions to the music- especially from 1:00 to 1:14. ABSOLUTELY GENIUS. Perfect song choice, perfect man, perfect video :) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS!! It's made my day :)

Always one of my favorite actors. My personal favorite movies of his are "A Guy Named Joe" and "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo" . A very good and loving tribute on your part.
