Hey, wie ihr wisst schaue ich ja aktuell alle eure Videos durch :-) Und bemerke, ich seit nicht mehr so Steif wie am Anfang, klasse und ich schaue euch echt gerne. Sehr informativ. Was ist fen mal mit einem privaten Video? Was habt ihr gelernt und sowas? Welche Zeit habt ihr genommen alle 2 oder 3 Sekunden ein Bild?

Hey das freut uns echt sehr! Am Ende musst du uns aber noch deinen Favoriten verraten. Der Anfang war natürlich nicht so einfach, aber der Zeit steigert man sich, dass ist sogar uns selbst aufgefallen. Ja sowas könnten wir auch mal machen, aber im neuen Video „5 Jahre Weltreise finanzieren“ haben wir noch ein wenig zu uns erzählt. Unter anderem wie wir auf die Idee dazu gekommen sind und was wir vor der Reise gemacht haben. Also bei diesem Timelapse Video haben wir mit den Zeiten immer variiert. Die meisten Aufnahmen wurden mit der GoPro und der Zeitraffer Funktion gemacht. Das war während dem Ausbau am einfachsten, weil man die Kamera dann nebenbei mitlaufen lassen kann. Von den Zeiten her waren das meist so 1 oder 2 Sekunden pro Bild. Liebe Grüße 🤗

Gut gemachtes Zeitraffervideo. Beim der Ausbaumethode tut mir immer der Platzverlust weh. Man hätte auch das Armaflex direkt filzen können oder Leichtbauplatten ohne Unterkonstruktion direkt partiell setzen können. Die Holzpaneele finde ich in Summe viel zu schwer. Machen aber viele so wie im Video.

Hey vielen Dank 😊 Du hast natürlich recht, man kann da noch ein paar Zentimeter sparen. Wir persönlich haben allerdings wirklich genügend Platz und haben die Wandverkleidung relativ flach gebaut, so dass nicht all zu viel Breite verloren geht. Außerdem finden wir das Holz als Verkleidung echt schön und gut anlehnen kann man sich daran auch. Aber für den ein oder anderen reicht eben auch Filz oder ähnliches an der Wand. Das ist ja das schöne beim Selbstausbau, er ist sehr individuell 😊 Liebe Grüße

Hi guys! Great video! I am also right now starting/planning to build a camper like this in Germany. Knowing Germany I am a little bit afraid of all the rules how it needs to be inside the van. Could you share any tips about that? Did you guys register the van as a Wohnmobil or left as a LKW? :) Thank you!

Hey 👋 So to be able to register the vehicle as a “Wohnmobil” (Motorhome) in Germany you’ll need certain things like a seating area, bed, sink and kitchen including a stove. I suggest you to go to the nearest TÜV station and ask them for the exact details as they differ slightly in each region. We’ve registered the vehicle as a Wohnmobil right after the conversion. @@user-kk4ik4dc4i Hey beim Kauf war er als LKW zugelassen. Nach dem Umbau haben wir ihn dann zum Wohnmobil umschreiben lassen, dass hat uns vor allem bei der KFZ Versicherung viel Geld gespart. Liebe Grüße 😊

hi ihr zwei ;-) Ich habe schon die anderen Videos von eurem Sprinterumbau angeschaut. Respekt bei den "Vorschäden" (Rost). Der Umbau ist sehr schön geworden. Ich suche auch schon eine ganze Weile einen Transporter zum Umbauen. Am liebsten Fiat Ducato oder Citroen Jumper. Was ich schon immer fragen wollte: wie seht ihr das mit der "nur" Euro5 Norm bei den etwas älteren Vans? Es bestehen zwar momentan nur Fahrverbote in Städten, aber zukünftig?

Frank The Tank Hey vielen Dank 😊 also für uns sollte es schon ein Euro 5 sein, aber neuer wäre dann auch gleich eine ganze Ecke teurer gewesen. Im Endeffekt wollen wir sowieso in keine Ballungsgebiete fahren und Campen lieber in der Natur. Da wir aber derzeit Vollzeit im Van leben, mussten wir natürlich auch schonmal durch Städte hin durch fahren, war aber soweit noch überhaupt kein Problem. Was die Zukunft bringt wissen wir auch nicht genau, aber ob der Euro 6 dann nicht auch schnell wieder abgelöst wird?

@@AbenteuerVanlife Hallo und vielen Dank :-) Stimmt, Euro6=teurer, da mind. Baujahr 2017. Und was die Zukunft bringt wg. Euro6 (7+8+9+....), das weiß eh niemand. Vollzeit im Van? Hoppla, das hab ich gar nicht so mitbekommen. Das machen einige, deren Videos ich bisher gesehen habe. Also für mich wäre es "nur" ein Urlaubs- oder Kurzurlaubs-Van, da ich in einer Wohnung (im eigenen Haus) lebe. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich das könnte. ................Edit: OK, auf eurer homepage lese ich gerade, warum "Vollzeit-Vanität" :-) Viel Spaß und Glück wünsche ich euch und ich verfolge es weiterhin :-) .....Wg. KFZ-Kennzeichen: aber aus Mosbach kommt ihr nicht, oder?

Frank The Tank Seit fünf Jahren reisen wir mit verschiedenen Vans. Haben aber in der Zwischenzeit immer mal wieder Saisonjobs gemacht und dann vor Ort in Mitarbeiterwohnungen gelebt. An sich ist es gut wenn man alle 6 Monate mal wieder ein eigenes Zimmer mit Küche und Bad hat. Aber dann vermissen wir oft schnell die Freiheit die uns der Van bietet. In Mosbach haben wir den Van gekauft, nun aber auf Mayen umgemeldet 😄 Dankeschön!

Wow, toller Van!!! Wirklich sehr gut gemacht, und das alles auf die Straße! I'm sorry, my German sucks. I'm actually super curious about how your glued-on PVC shower is holding up. It is a pretty cool idea, lightweight and easy to build. Though the problem with white silicone (at least here in Brazil) is that it gets black over time. So how's the experience? All the best to you guys in Germany and once again, congrats!!

Hey thank you so much! Your German skills are great at first I didn’t even notice that you weren’t German. So the PVC is still holding, we put a lot of glue on it to be honest. We didn’t use white silicone because it really changes the Color. We’ve used white construction glue which is a bit flexible so it doesn’t tear. All the best 👋

Planning to keep the weight down as much as possible, especially since we like hiking and going off-road. Also, I'm almost embarrassed at how much I've spent on power tools so far and you guys did such a superb job with so few tools. Respect!

I’m sure you’ll also build a great van! Ours looks good but if you have a close look especially in the corners you’ll notice that we could’ve used some better tools. A table saw would be the best investment.

@@AbenteuerVanlife hahaha, a typical DIY person's answer. Only the people that build something see the little imperfections. Ihrer Van scheint perfekt zu sein. Eine Tischkreissäge hab ich schon, trotzdem ist meine Schreinerei nicht perfekt. Ich habe keine Werkstatt im Haus, dann hat meine Frau die Terrasse verloren und das Sägemehl ist wirklich überall im Haus. Ich bin immer noch verheiratet, also ich denke, meine Frau liebt mich aufrichtig...

Hey vielen Dank! Also in genauen Arbeitsstunden ist es schwer darzustellen. Wir haben insgesamt drei Monate für das komplette Projekt gebraucht, dazu zählen die Fahrzeugsuche, Planung des Ausbaus und der Umbau selbst. Allerdings haben wir den ersten Monat nur mit Recherche verbracht bis wir endlich ein Fahrzeug gefunden hatten. Die anderen zwei Monate gingen zum Bauen drauf. Da haben wir täglich von 8 Uhr morgens bis abends um ca 20 Uhr gearbeitet und dann meistens bis Mitternacht noch mit der Planung weiter gemacht. Es waren sicherlich unzählige Arbeitsstunden, aber es hat sich gelohnt! 😊 liebe Grüße

It looks like you only used Mass Load Vinyl (MLV) for your insulation, nothing else?

Hey 👋 We’ve used a material specifically for insulation. It’s called “Armaflex” in Germany and it’s a type of insulation foil in 19 mm thickness. So it’s sufficient for standard insulation purposes. I can’t tell you if there’s a similar product in your country unfortunately.

Bei minute 5:02 sieht man die Scharniere von der Hecktür. Dazu habe ich eine Frage, das Türfangband also das schwarze metall Teil unten, was an der Tür und im Innenraum befestigt ist, passte das so mit der Innenverkleidung? Bei anderen Ausbauten habe ich schon gesehen das dafür extra ein Loch in die Holzverkleidung gemacht wurde damit die Türen überhaupt zugehen. Frage weil ich mich damit zeitnah selbst auseinandersetzen muss, habe auch einen Sprinter. :D

Hey wir haben nachträglich noch ein Loch für das Türfangband in die Verkleidung eingebracht. Das Band hätte auch so gepasst, da es beim Schließen der Hecktüre einfach über der Verkleidung gleitet. Also sie schließt trotzdem ohne Probleme. Aber mit dem passenden Loch war es eleganter und verbraucht keinen zusätzlichen Platz. Denn genau dort sollte ursprünglich eigentlich der Wassertank hin kommen und dann wäre das Band immer gegen den Tank gestoßen beim Schließen. Ich hoffe die Erklärung hilft dir so. Liebe Grüße 🤗

Hey that’s an important thing to keep in mind when planning to move into a van. You could try and find some seasonal work and travel around depending on the different seasons. Also you can try to find work online like a travel blog or vlogging on KZread. But there are many different ways! Good luck
