Van Build: How We Insulated and Heat Our Van

In this #videovanlife video I'll talk about how we heat our van using a 3.3-gal propane tank mpounted under the van and a Propex HS2800 propane heater. I'll also discuss how we insulated the van and some heat preservation tips.

We are also going with the artic Tern (sp?) windows in our pending build. Going with a Webasto 2.0 (gasoline) for heat though. No way I'm scooting under the van in potentially muddy, slushy conditions every night we're in a new spot LOL! Your three distillery vid tour was excellent! Looking forward to more adventures...

Thanks again. The webasto could possibly be a choice for my next van. We didn’t use it here because I had no desire to modify my gas tank in anyway but I’m much more confident now in building. Let us know how it turns out and the difficulty level of the install.

@@CubbyVanLife Hey Glenn. There are some great vids out there on the install of the Webasto (see "Marc and Tania"). Not sure if you will go with a Promaster on the next but they have the access "hatch" on floor between front seats with a handy port/orifice for the connect of the "fuel sipper line"!
