Never played Vampyr but I love this song. It's so dark yet so beautiful.

I heard the game had a lot of flaws :/

everytime i listen to this song, i always imagine myself in the woods, dry leaves are falling and me sleeping in the middle of the woods. this song really comforts me and makes me sleep and i always dream about this song and the same thing i always imagine.

"Don't Fear the Reaper" sung by The Spiritual Machines has never sounded so better when it's extended.😁

This isn’t the actual cover. This one has been out for a while but the real one from the game is on KZread.

I love the original but this is just utterly amazing and one of those songs you can just keep on loop.

A beautiful love song that tells the love and hope of a committed couple across all planes.

This is a haunting lullaby. I love it.

The only thing is This song can use a little more *COWBELL*

Why is vampyr getting so much crap? I think the game is great and the soundtrack is amazing. I can’t help but think of the anime (Hellsing) when playing it, it makes you feel like such a badass and personally I think the combat is fine it’s pretty well balanced nothing really feels over powered and the skill tree has a lot to pick from. So in my opinion the game is worthy of an 8 or even 8.5 out of 10.

No one likes QTE's in a game anymore, it ruins the point of playing the game itself And DLC's will probably be announced later in the year depending on the result of the game's release And the graphics is SUPPOSE to look bleak and dark, because it's a vampire gothic-like game, it doesn't need shiny or bright graphics

However,I think that people should realize that it is a AA and it's obvious that they are not going to be super detailed. Life is strange,in my opinion,had worts graphics than Vampyr and everybody like it bracause of the story and Vampyr has a great story too.

I think its because the game suffers from a lot of the same problems that most games heavily based on player action do- A player might do something that seems to not be related to the current task, or make a choice that seems to offer a good outcome, only for that task or choice to brick an entire chunk of the story because it was a bad choice, even though it was telegraphed and displayed as a neutral choice. Not to mention, even though the combat isn't bad, it's in the weird location of being between bare bones and complicated. It's not flat, but it's not deep either. it's shallow.

Game is ok BUT. In a Talking simulator 80% is listen to conversations having no local voice is exhausting. Subtitels way to fast and buggy sometimes. Lipsync terrible. No manuell save big no go. This are big issues.

This song is the reason why I bought the game, after much research, and watching the trailers. This song did it for me. Game has a nice soundtrack

Kin idk about cheery but I know what you mean, kinda like more upbeat? I’ve always thought it had a charming or convincing sound to it. While this one has more of a drawn out sound and “haunting” it’s similar to the original and new sound of silence. The new one brought out the instrumentals and deepness of the song... either way this version and the official one for the game ( the one by:Mona Najib) are amazing covers.

Yeah. I agree with the original being haunting. The utter pain and misery while dancing, smiling, and partying. It sounds cheery, but that’s a lie. The smiling face is all a lie. I’m sure you know what I’m getting at by this. Damn it’s a good song. One of the best suicide songs I’ve ever heard.

There is a dramatic difference in atmosphere and tone between the two songs. The female vocalist makes a huge difference as does the male vocalist singing with her. There is also a great deal more nuance in the music itself. The synthesizer moves what was a rock song into a completely different genre.

@@mollythorne5260 That's not strictly true, sure it mentions Valentine, Romeo and Juliet, however the main premise of the song is about not fearing death. Hence the '40,000 men and women every day, we can be like them' line. The whole song represents the afterlife.
