hey i said i didn't think i was going to stick with this game until i discovered this speedrun and started messing with it. this is a speedrun to get all 43 achievements as quickly as possible, this is (as of 2/8/22) the world record, this'll only be valid for like a week until next update, i also think you can shave like 15 minutes off of this run, but this was also extremely lucky.
expect more of these, i think they're great content and i'm having a ton of fun with it.

Didn't know the first run actively stops you from skipping chests! I mostly watch on YT so wasn't aware you streamed this, especially since last video was kinda lukewarm on the game :)

once you unlock the library this game goes kinda nuts, the feel of it is super weird since minute 6-13 on forest you are just absolutely deadlocked, but someone in my discord beat all achievements in 5 hours and i went "huh, wonder how fast you could do that" and here we are

I wonder how long this will be a feasible Speedrun category considering current development rate, new achievements are added almost each week

i tried it somewhere in there and it didn't make a noticeable difference, however turning off the flashing vfx definitely does and i need to remember to do that
I was there, but it pales in comparison to the 6 second WR you set at the start of strim.
Great play. I have played for 8 hours and never got a 5 reward chest. Whats the secret, you seem to get them every run!

They drop all the time as you naturally play through the game. It's a combination of the character luck, stage, and the wave the boss enemy is from. On the basic 30 minute time limit stages you'll normally start getting them from bosses at around the 20+ minute mark. I guess those chests have a higher % rate to be a 3 or 5 item chest.
So it's like factorio but the only product is gems and the only building is bible and you're a big weird inserter.
