@ymarrero23 He sure as hell had control over trying to kill Renesme. I mean, look. From the moment Bella got pregnant her relationships became shattered. Edward, Jacob, Alice… They all wanted to kill the baby she loved so much. Only Carlisle and Rosalie were on her side. She forgave Edward since he saved her life. And Alice was always her friend so she forgave her too. But Bella was unconscious when Jacob was protecting her. And her relationship with Jacob was always weird. He always had talent to pull the worst out of her. Like when he talked her into going to La Push against Edward's will. So this simply happens again. Except Jacob himself is the unfortunate victim this time.

Kaila Cook please don’t forget Edward also asked him to convince her to do so, plus they both later got a reason to love the child. Only difference is Edward made a choice, Jacob had none.

I think my favorite part about this scene is after bella throws Seth, how Leah goes over to Seth and kinda hugs him to see if he’s ok and then stands in front of him as to try to protect him. So sweet, such a big sister thing to do 😂😌🥰🥲🥺

Can we please NOT pretend that Bella wouldn't be the first to scream and shout to take Renesmee away, if it was ANY other newborn vampire - even one who had the right to meet her, like her parents for example. At this point they don't know Bella has - for no godforsaken reason other than making her some kind of OP vampire 🙄- much better control over her thirst than other newborns. It's not messed up. When a wolf imprints, it would die to protect the one it imprinted on. His senses felt like she was a threat. It's an animal thing. And if he sensed a threat then that means there is a threat, even if just a little.

He was always annoyed with Bella wanting to be around Jacob so seeing her turn on Jacob like that was a dream come true for him, and now Bella will not hurt her hand punching Jacob in the face again!! I could see him wondering if with her being a new born if she will brake his face and how bad... LOL.

I love that moment that is shared between Edward and Jacob when Bella asks why Jacob suddenly cares about Renesmee. WE know that Jacob imprinted and it saved all their lives from Sam's pack, but Bella doesn't know this yet. Jacob glances at Edward and he OH so subtly shakes his head no...almost as if Jacob was asking Edward if he should reveal this to Bella NOW, that he's imprinted and Edward said "No, let her see the baby first...THEN she'll kick your ass." lol

So no one's gonna talk about how they made the wolf much more realistic than the baby?😂😂

Yeah this part is always the best. The very fact that Bella is strong enough to scruff Jacobs neck and throw him out of her house and away from her daughter is bloody awesome!!!

I love how everybody is like, "I loved the smile on Edward's face when Bella gets mad at Jacob." Am I the only one that loves Emmett's face even more right before Jacob tells Bella he imprinted on Renesemee? (I am sorry if I spelled her name wrong!) 2:39 Secondly, I love this scene so much. I can't even imagine the feeling of literally dying and losing your life for this child, at your weakest and most broken - physically and mentally - then getting to meet her for the first time at your strongest - experience-wise and physical-wise. She lost her life during this birth, and despite always wanting to become a vampire, the risks of having it happen when she is on the verge of death are high. She shouldn't have had to turn out of necessity, rather out of choice. This mother-daughter bond will last an eternity, and I could not imagine this scene any other way! (Perhaps without a CGI baby, however...) Lastly, I love Edward in this last scene. Not for his smile or mischievous laugh as he watched his wife beat the crap out of a werewolf, but rather for how he takes pride in this. He knows that Bella is strong and powerful, perhaps even making a note to himself not to get on her bad side. He also understands that Jacob has no control over his imprinting, otherwise, Jacob would be, well... dead. No discussion. Thank you so much for posting this! Twilight has always been one of my favorite series of all time! This just reminds us all what it was like to be a teenager who loved this hexalogy and wanted two people to fight over them and give them attention. This series, like I am sure it was for some, was an escape from our reality.

@@user-cj5ew9hm9x I so agree! Growing up, I was more into Dystopian Fiction like The Hunger Games or Divergent series. Despite this, I was suggested to read Twilight when the world was in a huge debate about Team Edward vs. Team Jacob. I wasn’t to excited to read it, but after doing so, I wished I could read it again for the first time! I have always loved History, and to your point of the history and action of it made a mixture of emotions and scenes that are polar opposites to each other intertwine. Being that is a book for teenagers and “teens” are the protagonists, the wholesomeness and little romantic moments between her and Edward would scenes I found myself actually enjoying those chapters. Action books were common for me, and despite often reading books with a little bit of romance (like the ones I listed plus others), this book had larger amounts, and it was my first true, romantic novel series.

The imprinting thing will always confuse me, because over and over Jacob says it’s “not like that” but then the whole dad joke implies it differently 😂

Imagine someone saying "hey I have a Wolf perk called imprinting it's where we're mates even though she's a baby" and trying to tell that babies parents and the parent being his best friend who's now a really strong vampire. Plus everyone else knew he was overwhelmed and could've said something but nah Edward got a kick out of him being thrown out 😂💀

Most impressive that Jake doesn't phase in face off being thrown out of the house. Should have been his natural instinct as a wolf. And Leah is quite calm here, too. I get the idea of the imprint being a solution for the pack against pack fight problem, but it was such a cruel, forced on him decision for the character Jacob. He never wanted to imprint, all he ever wanted, for himself and others, was a free will, a choice in love. It would have served so much better if Seth would have imprinted on Renesmee and Jake could have found his happily ever after with the other strong soul, Leah. Alpha and alpha female. It would have healed so many broken hearts... and would have been real character development. Yeah well... Shoulda woulda coulda...

you make such a good point, he should have ended up with Leah. especially with the moments they had together previously and shared experiences involving relationships. would've made so much more sense

I love it! Because Leah was the anomaly of the pack it would have made sense for Seth to imprint since he was the closest to the Cullen, Edward in particular so it wouldn’t have been a problem then Leah and jake would have bonded and found they don’t need to conform to the wolf ideology of imprinting and eventually fell in love, most likely while in their wolf forms

@@AshMae264 No they aren't. Read the books. The Blacks and Clearwaters are friends (Harry, Sue and Billy) and members of the high council of the Quieleute tribe. Just because someone looks alike not means their blood related- That's cultural ignorant nonsense.

If imprinting was platonic it would’ve been one thing and I doubt Bella would’ve gotten angry but it’s obviously not going to be platonic “brother” and “uncle” sort of bond especially since we don’t see platonic imprinting and it’s implied she will take on a romantic role to him when she’s older. “Hey guy that’s nearly 20 years older than me who was there watching me growing up and I see you as family let’s get naked”. This setup would all come across as grooming and gross to most audiences. And how many parents would honestly feel comfortable with that. And I’m not here for the 1% of people who they or their parents are so in love despite the large age gaps. This is much worse than age gaps.

I mean she grows up super fast though, she's only half human. Her mind probably doesn't work the way a human does. It's not like a regular human growing up around their parents friends.

I remember how obsessed we were with Twilight when the books were coming out. I was in Florence when New Moon launched in Europe before it did in the states and I read the entire book on the flight home. I was a sophmore in highschool then. Looking back now as a 30 year old, this series is so fucking weird bahah
