Yes been looking at this ship. I reset a line for Research points and found it to be "not enjoyable". I didn't spend a-lot of Credits or XP in doing so but I did use up some. Initially I purchased the Halland research mod, that mod is worth the "give and take", tempted for Daring but loosing 5% conceal in the "trade"... NO I don't think so. I'll pass. The Halland mod is awesome though. I've got to wait a month for the 2X research points to re-boot... that sucks. No way I'm going to reset for 1X no way!

Sounds like an American trying to do a steve irwin impersonation after accidentally listening to a voice accent training pack for white South Africans.

The game's meta has made playing the Vampire II very problematic. In my last game, I'm smoked up and nose into an island trying to take the cap and I get hit by a barrage of HE and SAP rounds which do over 18K dmg before I can even start to reverse out of the situation. Fast firing HE/SAP and mods which provide the precise location of each puff make smoke practically worthless when they can just walk their shells up and down it.

@@Billswiftgti Yeah. But it's also a case of imbalance. I've been playing a lot of EU and no-smoke Kagero / Yugumos because smoke is practically worthless. Better not to have it and not be tempted by it. Just work the flanks and stay out of range except to run in to torp. It makes you no friends and you'll have no Karma points but at least you'll live to see more than 5 minutes of the match.

@@Billswiftgti First, I didn't say smoke was worthless, I said, "practically worthless," and for the reasons I mention. Why do you believe Hayate's smoke is better than others? Does it not succumb to radar, hydro, planes and rapid firing HE spammers?

@@robertanderson6929 if you own enough IJN DDs, you know that Hayate used to have either smoke or torpedo reload booster. So Hayate got a buff. Don't think so hard. Where did I say that Hayate smoke is better😆 And saying worthless and practically worthless is the same. If you know what practically means.
