Şövalye Adası, Muğla’nın Fethiye ilçesinde yer alan ve Meğri Adası ya da Fethiye Adası olarak da bilinen şirin ve küçük bir ada.
Telmessos Körfezi’nin adeta ağzını kapatırcasına uzun ve ince uzanan ve bu özelliği ile Fethiye Limanını tarih boyunca daha korunaklı kılan ada, bölgede bulunan adalar içerisinde üzerinde yerleşim bulunduran tek ada olma özelliğine sahip.
Adanın, batısında Kızılada, doğu tarafında Çalış Plajı, güneyinde Fethiye ve kuzeyinde ise Fethiye Körfezi bulunuyor. Üzerinde pek çok otel, restoran, plaj ve piknik alanlarının bulunduğu Şövalye Adası, en sıcak yaz günlerinde bile Akdeniz melteminin serinlettiği Fethiye’nin vazgeçilmez adreslerinden biri.
Knight Island is a cute and small island located in the Fethiye district of Muğla, also known as Meğri Island or Fethiye Island.
The island, which stretches long and thin as if it covers the mouth of the Gulf of Telmessos and has made the Fethiye Port more sheltered throughout history, is the only inhabited island among the islands in the region.
The island has Kızılada in the west, Çalış Beach in the east, Fethiye in the south and Fethiye Bay in the north. Knight Island, with many hotels, restaurants, beaches and picnic areas, is one of the indispensable addresses of Fethiye, where the Mediterranean breeze cools you even on the hottest summer days.
