I don't understand how Creativity wasn't a solid 10. Most creative map I've ever seen.

@@urajeenus the map was definitely based off the resident evil movie. The games were not like that map at all but the movie was for sure. The stranger things could have been based the vr, I've never played that one, but it kinda sounds like the map maker was just saying that so that he wasnt DQ'd. You can say you're basing it off a game all you want but the game doesn't reflect the map, the movie does.

@@urajeenusunfortunately he’s right, the Resident Evil map was absolutely based off of the movies, the laser hall and the little girl are from the movie, and the whole map is from the first movie, it’s not in any of the games.

Creativity should of been at least a 9

@@andrewbell3089 I don't watch him much anymore, but like I said I've been watching him for years as you certainly didn't understand what I said.

An often overlooked aspect of gaming, film, any sort of audio/video media is sound design and sound quality…..that resident evil/stranger things map was insane. But without the voice lines and theme music and such playing, it would have had a completely different feel and there would have been almost zero immersion. That sound design made that map an experience. Incredible job

That last map is definitely one of the best ones so far. That and the last of us map are top 2 for me

For the next contest: 1 month to create a starting room challenge map Poop of the dead was one of the most creative and fun to watch custom maps and you never even had to leave your stall until boss fight

the stranger hives map was very good my only pointers are, could do with a change on dogs to look more like the ones in resident evil, big zombie boss with the (mind flayer) with 2x health bars one after the other 3x the size. makes a harder boss fight and the bugs this would be a masterpiece.

Stranger hives DEFINITELY got cheated out of first place. So many things to do, buildables, custom animations, great long lasting Easter egg, soul boxes, boss fight, jump scares, different enemy types, puzzles, little to no glitches that I seen, the visuals!!! And etc. The list goes on n on. The only thing the last of us was very good with the scrap mechanic, but in my opinion, this takes first place by a landslide. This map deserves a second opinion. Maybe a look back once you're done with all maps, or maybe even a majority vote.

My timer went off and paused it at exactly 13:47 😅

some people mad the last map isn't in 1st when it was so clearly out of theme it was great 10/10 map but was clearly themed movies/tv shows down to literally recreating scenes from stranger things

@@MAXiBiZZLE Yeah, it feels pretty likely that they were already making a Stranger Things map and then quickly added some Umbrella Corp logos when this competition was announced. My only other guess is that they just had a bunch of Stranger Things assets readily available and rolled with it.

Stranger Hives should be ranked higher than Last of Us. Just my opinion. Both excellent maps.

Has Noah uploaded the kingdom hearts map yet? Or am I just dumb and can’t find it?

Dude that valorant ascent map is so amazing in how tiny it is but at the same time how much content it has. Elaborate easter egg with multiple steps which includes the steps for the upgraded MK2 rayguns, themselves being part of the easter egg. And it's a proper EE in that most of the steps are actually hidden and if people go in blind it can be kibda difficult to solve. I love it. Edit: dang stranger hives was insane. It's impossible to believe that it was made in just 2 months. It's one of those custom maps that's as good if not better than a treyarch map.

That last map was made with hope of the theme being TV series and then tenuously adapted at the last minute so it could qualify. Great map but lets not pretend this was made for a gaming theme.

For what I think, the Resident Evil map being based on the movie more than the game makes it a little out of theme, even if movie is based on the videogame, and overall it became more of a Stranger Things map other than a RE. But overall the atmosphere Is 10 out of 10

The last map is by far better than the last of us, way more in depth Easter egg, cool elements like the elevators and the part where he had to jump and duck over lasers, the fact that the zombies don’t spawn until a certain point, the multiple jump scares, the custom zombies models, the boss fight arena and insane pap room, blows the last of us out the water imo.

@Noahj456 You definitely kinda cheated the Creator of Stranger Hives 😔 out of 1st place easily 😅kinda unfair seems a Lil bias for Last of US

Man I respect the last of us map and it is well deserved to be number 1......but this "Stranger Hives" map has to top it!!!! That map was completely and ridiculously MASTERFUL!!!!!!!!! Just a COMPLETE MASTERPIECE!!!!!!
