Are you into Bierstadt homie? Ultimate painter of the sublime. Would love to see your takes on some master studies of his & Turner! They relied on oil but I bet you could achieve a lot of that with reg acrylics, slow-drying acrylics or mixing on the palette and placing value w/ the brush.

Would be hard to be a landscape artist without appreciating the work of Bierstadt, although I'm more a fan of Church and Cole personally.
