Glad i watched this cause i confirmed my few doubts about what i was doing, was basically building sena team (already have her+wep, stigmas and helia stigmas, the crossbow doesnt like me) and im building a kinda cheap-ish physical team on the fly with the HoS they give you for the leveling pass while i wait for what 7.4 has in store for us, thanks for the vid.

u do after 100 rolls. It's a 1% chance to get it vs. 1.5% chance in a usual battlesuit supply. I don't recommend adv supply unless u guaranteed have 100 rolls

Herscherr trio team will probably be easier to finish or acquire through this year. more than likely they will start putting the herscherrs in the BP as they have done with previous herscherrs (HoV, HoT, HoR). now ive been gone for 2 years, so im not exactly sure when they were released, but old herscherrs showed up in the bp about a year after their release

keep in mind it costs money to acquire those herrschers, although ig origin will be free. If you bought every battlepass, it'd cost $60 to get the herrschers and their weapons and maybe one stigmata. It's kind of a tossup on if you think it's a good investment or not

Hi, thank you for this video! I've tried getting into the game several times now and always became overwhelmed too quickly.. I really like Sena (and I should hopefully get her soon), so I am hoping I can stick with the game for longer this time around. I am currently using some sort of Savannah team, I want to have a team around Sena, and maybe get Sirin with Ai chan for fire team. I have an Valkyrie Option S Egg.. and I've read that all of the options there are outdated and pretty much useless.. so should I just grab the Ancient Willpower instead?

Honestly yeah, but if you just want to have more s rank Valkyries, then choose whatever you'd like

I think it’s important to point out that if you are new, the only thing you should even consider is getting senadina, her wep and helia wep. They are the latest characters and the cheapest and they will probably hold alot of value for awhile. After that just save your gems for new valks. The only things i’d consider back pulling for is horb or luna vow since luna has really good brute forcing potential and she can also be used in bleed.

its hard to generalize recommendations since even "new" players are all at different stages of the game and have different levels of spending. Not to mention that grinding out the story gives so much crystals, I mean there's almost 40 chapters to grind now which is kinda nuts to think about. I think I generally agree with your comment (although I'd throw in hotr in there too) but I just wanted to make this reply so everyone else who reads this knows to use their own discretion.

Im new and I just completed the new trio and yeah the thing that's keeping me from pulling valkyries past their debut is that since part 1 valks cost stupid amounts of crystals to full gear, it most likely will keep me from getting future part 2 valks weapons especially if they continue releasing multiple units at once just like this patch.

I think I’m gonna go for herrscher of rebirth next and start making a phys team, I made a new account that will probably be my main one for the foreseeable future as the other acc is kinda bricked with what I’ve pulled for (dunno why I went for random characters in this game when I don’t do it in other games lmao) but rn I have the senadina team and have all my campaign campaign crystals left so hoping I can get HoRb (cuz ima buy the HoS from the leveling pass) and then maybe if I have enough I’ll go for lunar vow and her gears, here’s to hoping I guess😂 Also depending on what that ice dps is like in 7.4 I might go for her instead and create an ice team

good choice! I'd definitely stick with building supports before you pull DPSes though. You could honestly retain red lotus with fully built supports, but even with a maxed out DPS and shit supports, the game is pretty miserable.

@@BaoPham2 yeah I’ve noticed in a lot of the other games I’ve played similar to this that supports have a MUCH longer shelf life than dps characters, kinda sucks cuz if I like the characters I play I just can’t use em anymore in high end stuff. Now obviously I won’t be f2p but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna whale haha, I don’t have very good impulse control half the time but when there is someone that I REEEEALLY want I’ll save every little gem I get. Pray for me haha I think phys team will be my best bet for now

I don't think it's "worse" to go for LV over senadina, but I will say this. If you're like super new with 0 Valkyries built, then senadina is probably the team to go for. But if you really like lunar vow, you can just go for her cause she's good. That being said, if you really grind it out, you could honestly get them both + weapons. Skip the starter supply too

Question for spending event. I have elf kiana and elf durandal at 3stars, is it better to get aim for elf p.bunny(2stars) or reach 4stars elf kiana? I don't plan on getting songque

i would not use dea anchora because she needs way too much investment. HoT is probably the pick because she has really good coverage even if she's an old valkyrie and you can get G4 handel from the forge which is her best stigmata set. Also for susannah, all you can really do is go double griseo

And the 7.4 lightning character doesnt look very appealing as of yet so who would be better? For senadina, I can craft all her gears already and I only need the weapon. I am lvl 87 btw I just havent played a while

Senadina team is probably the way to go since it'll probably be the cheapest to build since her stigmata is forgeable, so you'd only have to pull for her, her weapon, and helia's weapon. LV is the next best option, but you ideally want to get her full gear which will definitely be more expensive

I remember watching this kind of guides when I was starting game 3 years ago. Basically present list of 20 valks in meta. Pull for this this and this. But you can only afford one character xD Such a guide does not encourage you to play the game in any way. You can play characters you like, you just won't be able to run highest difficulty content, losing some weekly crystals, but these crystals will not be worth more than you spend to obrain character and gear to carry you

I definitely think most people with enough time will literally be able to own every Valkyrie, just maybe not all their stigmatas. I remember seeing an F2P account overview on KZread who literally owned every Valkyrie but was just missing a few stigmata sets. I personally only spend $5 a month for the monthly card and I think most people do this too and eventually we all catch up

The guide is good overall but as a new player even with all these stuff is a bit overwhelming when we talking about worth investing or not, like, invest for how long? As a new player its hard to know what is a reasonable time frame to invest and farm for something. How many patches will it take farming regularly for like, 2hours a day max. What is a good time to stop investing in something? A lot of players say to not pull for old Valk, focus on new ones and farm the free ones, but how long it will take, what are the Valk that are worth start to farm rn, should I use my currency on them or to get Coralie+Helia to higher ranks? Anyway, sorry for the rant, just a bit overwhelmed with everything that there is in the game.

If you're a new player and you clear everything part 1 has to offer, you can get about 45k gems. From all part 1 story, open worlds (APHO, samsara, etc), and various PVE activity in the game that I kinda forgot lol. For gems income per patch, for each patch update you can get up to 15k gems, from story, activities such as dailies, abyss, MA, etc.

If you're F2P, it's generally a good idea to invest in support type Valkyries since they are usually useful for longer. DPS gets powercreeped a bit faster in HI3rd. Meanwhile for DPS units even when you have them 4/4 (weapon + 3 stigmas), they would still perform rather poorly when not paired with their respective support units. You can try this when you're using trial Valkyries, try fighting without support and then using proper support, you'll notice a big difference.

ER 2.x+ arent really doable until you unlock all the ER upgrades so dw too much. The keebster made a series where he beat the hardest elysian realm difficulties with budget gears so its not an issue with your valkyrie.

id say just slap nebulous duality on sushang for now. AE rotations take way too long imo

I saved up all the way from 6.0 to pull Finality and Origin, then got myself Truth on rerun, got full set on their next rerun The full trio team is an absolute beast, even against elemental resistance The only trouble I've faced is Kallen, and Kallen ONLY It's worth is totally depending on your self-control, if you can somehow ignore all those beautiful waifu and skip till you can max those 3 out, the outcome will support you till...probably end of HI3 I assume and hope

Should i pull for a lighting dps or spend everything on truth's gears and character card ? my account atm has no lightning dps but i have eden 2/4. my ice and physical team are done, fire team is still missing truth as the last member.

keep in mind that truth's character card is on an adv supply, which means youre not likely to get early pity since the chance of getting an S rank character drops from 1.5% to 1%. Personally id probably go senadina

Personally I don’t think Bleed is really making a comeback for a loooong time. Judging from how it’s Durandal and Ely ELF, it’s safe to assume the next few sets of dps are Phys and Ice, and it might be psy phys (hugely underutilized) and qua/img ice teams with their corresponding AR supports (phys one particularly). Judging from how they killed off Ignite too. But it’s likely Ice first. imo for new ppl I’d probably pull P2 valks only and the HorB, LV, HotR combo. Everything else is just wait for updates.

i agree, i think ice will be replaced first, and then I feel like both eden and chrono navi have been out for a long time now, so i wouldnt be surprised if theyre replaced soon too. I'm not sure if they'll make a psy-type physical DPS though, herrscher of rebirth has been out since August of last year, which may sound like a long time but that's actually pretty short for a herrscher. Obviously her main strength is a support, but she's actually pretty strong as a psy physical DPS. Call me crazy but it might be something like a mech DPS since dreamweaver came out before HoRB or even something nuts like an SD-type physical DPS

MPE felt a lot more omnipresent when she was alive. also call me crazy but they might do a toughness mechanic for phys for p2 to differentiate it from shields. coralie’s phys buff is there for a reason lmfao

I dont think even a new player can afford to pull for lv, horb, hotr while saving for upcoming part 2 valks. Part 1 valks are just so stupidly expensive.

Coming back from like 4 month break good portion of my teams are already powercrept especially since they were really old already 😭😭😭. Wonder if i should go for HoFi (i havw HoO+HoTr full gear) to complete trio or just suck it up and use my xtals on someone else like FoV or Senadina?

i need sena's weapon ...... if i dont have enough rip helia you will need to use f2p weapon but i need sena's...... on my alt account. which honestly i made cause i wanted to roll for senadina my main did not give me sena but oh well my main does not like to give me decent rolls these days.

How desirable is Helia’s weapon? I’m poor rn from all the pulls for sendina and gear. Is Helia’s signature weapon that much of a damage increase? Of course I can wait to see who is in 7.4 and make my judgement from there

You don't need to force yourself to roll for it, but the thing is you also get her stigmata pieces from rolling which is nice since it'll take a long time to grind for the forge. Honestly if you can, pull for it. But if you have FOMO and don't wanna miss out on 7.4 Valkyrie, then use your own discretion. Neither route is necessarily wrong but personally id just grind out crystals to get her weapon

Rebirths main strength is not her DPS capability but her support capability. Although it's hard to forecast what's gonna happen next, I think hoyoverse will probably replace ice DPS first, and then perhaps bring a new ignite support or lightning support. If they were to introduce a new physical support, it'd replace terminal aide first, not herrscher of rebirth. Also pericles is not likely to show up anywhere else unfortunately. I suspect Senti's signature support gear may become forgeable soon or available in the exchange shop but I wouldn't use senti support over herrscher of rebirth unless you're a new player and dont have access to crystals yet

Rebirth is very, very likely to stay a long running staple of Physical teams. Same as Senti was before being replaced by Rebirth. Senti lasted for several years after all.

Sorry for asking silly questions but I only wish to clarify, bit late to the party. So for this new patch, for Senadina, we only need to pull for Sena and her weapon right? Since her stigma is farmable and we get 1 stigma box for her. For Helia, we only need to pull for her weapon right? We get 1 stigma box and others are farmable. For Coralie, we get her and her all equipments from story and farm right?

if you havent spent rolls on songque, I'd say you don't really need her and you should just save. If you think you can grind out the entire story in time (which gives you enough crystals for like 1 or 2 valkyries), then maybe try getting at least lunar vow or the herrscher of rebirth

shes coming back next week in a "cycle" rotation. Every S rank is gonna only be on the banner for 2 days in this respective order: HoRB, fenghuang of vicissitude, lunar vow, HoFi, and Dreamweaver. probably dea anchora, but just so you can get the 400 crystals from elysian realm. It'd be really hard to use her without her weapon and stigmata. although I think her stigmata are forgeable now, I'm not sure if her weapon is free to get. But really none of the valks in that box are actually that good. If you want the most meta valkyrie ,its Herrscher of thunder but she's been surpassed by lunar vow now.

If anything, bronya will likely be the last person to be powercrept. Get her stigmata first and maybe settle for G4 forgeable stigmata for finality

She's still "usable" yes, but she's powercrept by the new fu hua battlesuit for fire weathers, and lunar vow for psychic favor weather.

I thought keeby came back, it's exactly the same style and titles as his' 😢😢 We don't know what happened to him, do we? I want to get rebirth as i love the design and mostly play physical teams with V’s like umbra Ross and Stygian nymph. I’m willing to change my team into rebirth, prom and Stygian nymph and am pretty sure I can get 3 of her items weapons or stigma. Do you think it’ll be worth the pull if I do carry through?

@@evonliew3897 no keep saving. Don't pull for starter supply. Next week herrscher of rebirth will return for literally only 2 days. If you have enough crystals by then, pull for her and at least her weapon (get her full set if you can). Make sure to check the supplies every day to see if rebirth is there

hey i just came back with an update. You probably can't use thelema with helia and coralie. You'll probably have to run her with part 1 supports (shigure kira, jade knight). Whether or not you should pull for her, id say you probably should. She'll probably be the same value as lantern

Just want to clarify, if I get Sena and Helias weapons but dont have all their stigs is it worth continuing to pull? New player btw Also do you need dupes of things in this game the same you would get constellations in genshin sort of thing? Really don't wanna accidentally screw myself

1. Their stigmatas are forgeable in the foundry so you only need to pull for their weapons. 2. no, rankups or "dupes" in this game aren't nearly as substantial as constellations or eidelons

hotr is on adv supply this patch which means you're not likely to get early pity on her. However if you're gonna pull for senadina, you really need her weapon because shes a DPS. if you cant get her weapon, dont even bother. That being said, you shouldve gotten a lot of freebie rolls so I think if you grind it out, you can build a senadina team in time. Technically senadina team will see more use this patch but its hard to forecast who will have better longevity. Ideally if you haven't finished a lot of the story and can grind it out, you could honestly get both.

I've got Senadina's weapon earlier and it took me to 10 pity just to get it. It drained my funds, but I'm glad I was able to get it before the banner ends.

As a new player, is it worth even trying to build any of these part 1 teams? I have HoRB and her set/weapon and the Senedina team It seems like it might be worth just saving for future part 2 characters?

I think lunar vow and Hotr will be strong for a very long time. but I dont think its necessarily wrong to save for part 2 characters instead either. They will have very unique gameplay and artifically made meta by having their bosses required

so what do you recommend for absolute beginner? sena team 100%?

Senadina team, and then either lunar vow or herrscher of rebirth. They'll only be back for 2 days next week so only pull lunar vow or rebirth if you have enough crystals for them and their weapon (around 27000)

HoRB and PE is still my main physical team. is it time to ditch palatus equinox??

As a “veteran”, is the new Senadina team more valuable than getting Lunar Vow? (I skipped her patch completely so I have her 0/4 for context) Or should I just skip everything and wait?

I think it's really hard for me to decide for you so I'll just play devil's advocate for both sides and you can choose. Lunar vow can brute force through many bosses and weathers, and she's also a very strong lightning support. Supports just tend to last longer than DPSes. In contrast, senadina's the newest Valkyrie which means she *might* have a longer lifespan than LV DPS and her entire team is really cheap and she will cover both stardust and astral ring weathers, plus bosses are tailor made for her this patch. Id say don't skip anyone, definitely choose something to pull this patch because it won't get much better than this.

One thing to note is that senadina stigs do have some astral ring support abilities that senadina can't use currently, which could mean she could also be used as support for some future astral ring dps, though this is just speculation because of her stigs only

my girlfriend have hershcher of human SS rank and weapon but don't have the stigmata set i think she's using g3 or g4 stigmata, aslo same with herscher of finality SSS rank only weapon; no stigmata set but using g3 or g4 stigmata

pretty important but you could probably get away with not having it if you just want to retain red lotus. That being said, theres a huge amount of crystals you can get this patch though so definitely try if you can

focus on one team at a time. Its okay that you only have the senadina team completed so far. If you want to start a physical team, try to get rebirth and her weapon at least, and then you can use some placeholder stigmatas. Another option is to save after building senadina and her team

@@ChomskysGaming I wouldnt say you should ignore those stages. You can use helia as a lightning support and coralie as a fire support, and then use susannah or molotav cherry for physical weathers. If you get rebirth, you should use her as a DPS instead. (Note, for rebirth, theres like a little switch you can turn on and off in her "skills" section. Off = DPS. on = support). If you're confused on how to use these characters in a team, you can use the tactics class in game or watch marisa honkai's character guides where she has a "how to play" section

Also assuming youre new, you could honestly grind out the entire story and get enough crystals for lunar vow, rebirth, and senadina team. Although you'd have to *really* grind for it since both LV and HoRB will only be available next week for one week lol, for now just take ur time and enjoy the game

Idk how long you were gone for, but if it was like 2-3 weeks, I'd just make a new account. I don't think your account has any good Valkyries. On your new account, do starter missions, DO NOT PULL STARTER SUPPLY, and then save for senadina, her weapon, and helia weapon. If you have excess crystals, next week you can try pulling for either lunar vow or horb. But keep in mind that their banners will only be around for literally 2 days, so don't use crystals on them if you don't think you can get them and at least their weapon

You WILL definitely be able to clear the contents However, YOU WON'T score as hi as you used to specifically for Memorial Arena and Abyss modes. Other than just those two modes, you're pretty much safe. Hell, even to this day I still used my primary Ice Team (HOR Bronya + Pardofelis + Jade Knight / Haxxor Bronya) for Ice Weathers/Bosses and they still perform well in Abyss (Exalted Rank in Agony 1 & Agony 2). This is because I am already familiar with their rotation and timing in combat. Hell, I've been using 3-4 year-old characters by this point since most of them are either at 4/4 or 3/4. Minimal gacha pulls too since I craft/forge their stigmatas and buy their weapons from the EXCHANGE SHOP by converting/sacrificing duplicate "gacha only" weapons and stigmatas for characters that I do not need or plan to have.

@@urvhin At the end of the day, you're going to have to focus on building (and - if able - making a 4/4 full set 9-12 characters of your choosing) Even tho I have around 30-ish characters with most - if not all - having at 4/4 set, 90% of the time I use my preferred 9-12 characters simply because they are the ones I am familiar with the most (you most likely will do too). So, BEFORE YOU PULL FOR A CHARACTER, try them in the tutorial mode first and see if their combat gameplay and team composition fits your style. This way you'll be more efficient in managing your gacha AND upgrade resources.

Herrscher Trio aren't worth it if you didn't pick them up at debut. They are only meta for IMG weather or the tri-element weather, but they are too expensive for new players, and most others will be better off spending their crystals on new valks. It's much better to get Fenghuang of Vicissitude for Fire DPS and Lunar Vow for Lightning DPS, when they come around. Though priority should be on Sardine's team, since she'll be the one with favored weathers for a while, but for a lot of content Lunar Vow will be as good if not better than Senadina. For Phys teams, Herrscher of Rebirth is mandatory, and you can skip Misteln. Ice teams - new players are fine, since HoH is in starter supply I think, and she's an amazing Ice DPS. She can easily carry you through Elysian realm to pick up your 500 crystals each week if you don't have the new meta valk for whom the ER is balanced each patch. Although, I expect a new Ice DPS to come out in a few months, probably around summer at the latest.

hohe is not in starter supply anymore, and i dont recommend new players roll for hohe or starter supply. Also lunar vow cannot fulfill Senadina's weathers well. Currently there's an SD weather in memorial arena and the most used teams are 1. Senadina trio. 2. Senadina with Hotr/LV and Eden, and 3. Cosmic expression DPS (but these teams are usually with SSS HoRB).

​​@@BaoPham2I can definitely confirm that you can get, if barely, SSS max rewards on Guaymas (aka SD Tonatiuh) with a Herrscher of Brick team. (SS Senti, 4/4 Pericles and Brick lvl 60) (S0 4/4 Rebirth, Scythe 65) (SSS 4/4 Prometheus). Which is good since my Senadina team isn't ready yet (equipment issue), and also because Senadina is by far my best Lightning DPS and clears BKE SSS at max rewards which isn't something I could do before.

oh yeah im not saying you cant do it, I'm just saying that it's just not a BiS team. Obviously with enough determination, youre gonna be able to do it, but the point is that senadina makes it a fast run. LV can do it within a reasonable amount of time, but its kind of a slugfest

you're gonna want a team for every element. However, it's a lot harder than it sounds. If you get HoTr (or shigure kira if you dont have hotr), they act as supports for fire and elemental teams. shigure kira is also a support for ice teams. and then most of the supports are SP valkyries. For now don't worry about gearing them, just get the valks first. I made a gear guide a while back if you wanna look for it if you want to see what are some good budget gears

youd have to pretty unlucky to rely on the 30 roll pity. Not to mention that the future supplies give you the wishing well which lets you use 2 duplicate stigmatas to give you your missing one, which the sp banner lacks. Use your own discretion as always. Some people (especially F2Ps) live by never rolling on old banners, and it's not a bad strategy tbh

I didn't learn a single thing from the Recommended Equipment part because it's very obvious that their BiS is their own signatures (I know there are exceptions). Maybe next time put budget/f2p options there instead.

The new valkyries don't really have good budget gears unfortunately. If valkyries had good budget gears, I mentioned it in the investment guide. For example, I said that HoHe can use G4 stigmatas and 90% as well. Shigure Kira and chrono navi can use turgenev, etc. If I didn't mention a budget gear, it's because the budget gear is shit on them. I'm sorry you didn't learn anything from them but that's literally all there is to cover for budget gears if we're talking strictly about the meta. Admittedly I could've done a better job at discussing budget gears though since this video is intended for new players, so I'll take your advice to heart and maybe I'll do an updated gear guide for 7.3
