This cover is actually really freaking good, just because y'all took a risk doing your own take on the vocal lines and delivery which could've ended up pretty badly but it ends up sounding really awesome and making the cover really distinct from the others.

It was worth it. These vocals fit the lyrics way better than the tone deaf female vocals of the official version. Nothing wrong with *joyful* female vocals in general, but when the song is about a fighter who has this rage he can't contain and how fucked you are when he finally gives into it, the vocal style really misses the lyrical theme

@@ToveriJuri Funny thing I was thinking completely the same, but inverse in the first part, where the "sample" talks about the demon inside trying to get out, here sounded like "playful" (in absence of a better expression from my part) and didn't match the theme. The rest of the song is actually really good, I wasn't expecting much, but it was a great cover.

@@jaycrab7364 Are you sure? cause the vocalist of this band is Tom Byrne and the vocalist on Bury the Light is Victor Borba. Casey Edwards Wrote the original devil trigger and Bury the Light not this cover. I'm pretty sure Valiant Hearts had nothing to do with Bury the Light

@Eric Sparrow Gameplay was fun, story had its moments, and its bad ones, but the ending in particular always bothered me, Dante and Virgil fighting to the death so suddenly after building an actual brotherhood dynamic the whole game was weird to me, that fight needed more build up. I get they were trying to make them rivals again like the originals, but it was too swift and poorly executed, though the battle itself was fun.

Cheers! As for that line - while it is great, we didn't forget it! We wrote this cover around the 3 minute official version of the track, which doesn't have that lyric in it unfortunately. Not to say we couldn't have added it, but we felt like the lyrics used in this version of the chorus just flowed better :)

This is the only male cover I've heard that actually replicates the tone of the original singer's vocals instead of just being death metal roars and that makes it easily my favorite.
