I paint henna body art for a living. One of the biggest challenges is chatting and storytelling with my clients as I paint them, particularly when I’m working on a more intense piece! I find myself going quiet mid sentence or repeating myself all the time 🙃 Somehow, talking about the art itself, or aftercare, is easier than sharing about myself. I can relate to your little bit of awkwardness trying to tell a story and paint simultaneously! Thanks for giving it a try and sharing your wholesome story. It was fun to watch. ❤

These are so sweet! I have some handmade paper and this is a great idea to use them for. I loved your "first crush" story! I was raised by my grandparents for the first 5 years and then went back to live with my parents when I started "real" school. I had to ride a bus for about an hour to and from school and it was kinda scary! But after a couple of days, there was a little boy, Bobby, who made me feel less scared and one day on the bus ride home just as I was getting off the bus, he came running up the aisle and gave me a big kiss on the cheek! I never felt scared on the bus again! Bobby, if you're out there, I love you!!! 🥰

I loved hearing you recount your first crush story! It made me reflect back on my entire junior high and high school days. I REALLY wanted to hear about the nutty ceramic place, so PLEASE tell us next video! Btw...I married my high school sweetheart who was also my first crush and first kiss. We reconnected ten years later, and married. Wow! And I grew up in Newport, RI, also a small town like yours. You tell interesting stories, and i for one would love MORE! :) Fanna

I highly recommend Shayda’s courses. I started with the beginner level watercolor course about 2 years ago. I just finished the floral illustration course. The best part is how the courses are set up. They are well indexed, easy to search,the videos are filmed and laired with each lesson. They can be searched, you can skip around or go back and repeat as many lessons as you want. I paid $80 for my course. And it is WELL worth it. Snagging this content for $65 dollars is a steal. p.s. Love your cute innocent farm town story, i love hearing stories like that so cute and innocent and exciting at that age in those days. Love that you’re getting creative!! I think some kids are just more ‘grown’ than others- the next year I went off to high school and met girls that were on birth control and in long term relationships and it blew my mind! Hahaha
