You forgot to mention when Valeera and Anduin had a little moment in Theramore as well, where Valeera teaches lil Andy to throw knives and shit (a bow I think too?). Which helps further their friendship, because Anduin is bad with a sword and shit. And Valeera kinda sympathizes over the kid and gives him the alternative, the knife throwing.

Bolger and Fake-Dad teach him how to shoot a bow but yeah. I had the scene cut and saved that shows her teaching him how to throw a knife (since his pistol breaks during the ambush) but decided to scrap that. CANT INCLUDE EVERYTHING PHILL

Valeera is secretly a fan of Horde fashion. Loves those giant spikes. I've noticed the Uncrowned are heavily involved in Battle for Azeroth with Garona, Mathias Shaw and recently Valeera makes me think they're up to something.

If you play a horde rogue you get an extra speech option when talking to Garona and Lilian Voss on the Horde's mission ship. It gives a bit of insight into the matter of the Uncrowned. It could possibly be hints at things going on in the background, or it could just be flavour so people arent mad that their favourite neutral girls are now pro-Sylvanas.

@Bergr B Valeera was besties with Varian from her previous life of crime and gladiatoring and vowed to devote her life to supporting the Wyrnn family line. So she is a secret back channel between the Horde and Alliance that reports to Anduin directly. She is outside of the regular channels like SI:7 and Mathias Shaw who serve Stormwind and the Alliance, she serves Anduin specifically.

@Bergr B its very unlikely she would join either faction in any real sense, she is an independent figure who's only current loyalty is to her friends and family, which at this point consists of Anduin, the player and maybe Mathias Shaw to some extent.

@Bergr B in the post-4th war major character lore events that go on in orgrimmar and stormwind we get to see a bit of what the future may hold. One of them I believe hints at Shaw having a crush on Valeera, so I dont think its likely she is going to end up dating anyone from the Horde

I like your suggestion of alliance players choosing between being an informant for Genn/Mathias, vs not breaking Anduin's trust. I would Alliance characters to have a choice a bit like the one Horde characters got, and I think your suggestion could work. (That said, I would also like it if the Horde choice of Sylvanas vs Saurfang had a payoff at some point soon, lol.) Good video, by the way!

As King of Stormwind and High King of the Alliance, Anduin can not intervene wherever he wants to intervene. See the thing with Baine. That was an internal thing. He has to find volunteers to help him out his friend. What if Valeera puts together a group of members of Alliance and Horde whose loyality is Anduin because they believe he's the key to saving Azeroth? So what about a personal guard of Anduin, whom he can entrust tasks outside the Alliance / Horde matters?

Amazing video. Y'all, btw, read the comic series. I know it's a bit convoluted with Valeera and her storyline, especially with Me'dan, but it's worth it all. There's a lot in these comics however. So y'all should really read this shit.

Very well made video! I love it! Always wanted to know a little bit about her and her involvement however I do agree that putting in some portions from the Medan story line into the game has me turn my head a bit. It shows that they arent doing a complete retcon of certain events (Soft retcon if you will if that even makes a lick of sense). Also at certain angles you look like William Shakespeare. Not a bad look ;)

Great vid! She's a pretty cool character, her loyalty to the Wrynn family is interesting. I'm curious to see what Blizz will do with her character. Otherwise, I'd like to see a vid on Medan. I've known of his existence for a while but I never actually read the comics and I'm sure there are a lot of WoW player who have never even heard of him.

That was good, more Lost Codex Legends. I wonder if Valeera may help Lor'themar convince all of the sindorei to join the alliance and the horde rebels and I wonder if she may try to assassinate Sylvanas, but Sylvanas escapes with a few injuries. She may help bridge the cap between alliance and horde trust. Not with the main characters like Thrall and Jaina and Baine and so forth, but the citizens so they have the power and the backing of the people to tell Sylvanas to get out if there is not assassination attempt.

Great Video! Do the legend of Illidan Stormrage and what might be next for him.

"The boy king now serves at the master's table, 3 lies will he offer you" -Il'gynoth. I think Wrathion is gonna try and corrupt or manipulate Anduin into doing some shit in the future and Valeera won't be letting that happen with your help (Alliance) of course! Side note: "The boy king" could be referring to Anduin OR Wrathion given that both were princes but have now succeeded their fathers, not too sure.

I do wish they bring Med'an back, but perhaps in a state that he's already deceased. I like his character, but he is likely too problematic to bring back actively. Maybe we find a group of survivors of some plague or something and aided in the healing of them, but he succumbed to the disease himself in the end. It puts people's concerns to rest and he goes out as a good guy.

i like Valera a lot, and i consider her weapons long knives, that are pretty much the side of a short sword.

I hear that Kul Tiran music in the background.

I believe Valeer's daggers have been stated that they were Orcish daggers, which would explain the size of them.

With all the stuff related to Med'an that IS canon in retail WoW.....I want to believe he's canon too. Sure, his wiki "says he is except for him being Guardian", but he DID step down from it and left to explore the cosmos and "do important things that will come to fruition later". Know who else is roaming the cosmos now? Xal'atath. Know who's suddenly becoming more important? Medivh. Tin foil hat: Who's to say there won't be a connection with this? That Wrathion, Khadgar, and Medivh's spirit won't be involving Med'an somehow?

I wouldn't tell Shaw anything if I had the option. I don't think he is truly who he claims. And there are a number of others I know in the Shinies and Luckydoos community that feel the same way.

Regular Hearthstone players will recognize the "new" model as the same one that's been in HS for... forever. I've always wondered how long it would take to put the HS Valeera model into WoW, considering how good she looks in it. 'Bout time, Blizzard! XD

I don't think they are going to have Anduin go behind Shaw's back though. Shaw is a human. There are certain things he can't do himself blending into horde society. He has to sneak around; he can't get horde to trust him. Valeera can do deep campaigns Shaw cannot. I think she'll work with SI 7. Anduin is never going to be a shady king. Get over that idea please. They can't reproduce the Sylvanas dynamic with him. Maybe with Genn or Tyrande. Great video, I love the new format. No one on YT is as up on WoW lore as you, don't let anyone discourage you.

Feels as though they're goin for a potential third faction. Those who want world peace made up of both sides, those Horde loyal to Sylvanas and those of the Alliance who cannot forgive the horde's past (Tyrande, Genn).

Bad thing is that we don't get to see her in the story in bra, hope she will in shadowlands...

What happened to the good lore videos you used to do? This is boring.

If you’ve followed us for any lengthy period of time, you’ll know those lore videos take weeks to make. We’re a two person production team and to make visual heavy videos while working full time jobs means the videos are few and far between. Content like this is easy to make, and quick to publish so while the lore videos are being developed and produced, we’ll be putting out these “boring not good” lore videos ;)
