satyam kirti am from vajiram and ravi 2018-2019 (current batch). even with all the demerits, she said ,it is still the best. trust me you wont regret.

For UPSC, there is no shortcut except hard work in smart way with proper analysis ...and all these package comes under "self study"....

@flower world time is more precious than paisa. Bina direction k upsc jaise bde exam ki tyari kroge to kahin nhi pohanch payoge. Yrrr coaching jana boht jroori hai. Bina coaching ke mujse to bilkul vi ni hota mgr aap kr re ho je to boht achi baat hai.

Ma'am as u and many more says that most of the people who cracked this exam at some point they went for coaching at V&R.. ma'am as we know now what to study or not. So is it preferable for average people like me, having a self study or taking coaching in smaller city like Guwahati for this exam ma'am??

I was also student of vajiram and ravi of 2018 batch ... What i think u missed its biggest disadvantage that every other day is taken by new teacher with new topic which disconnects student from the previous topic...

This coaching also doesn't focus much on developing writing skill which is the most significant aspect of this exam. Good for developing basic understanding of subjects and keep student motivated throughout the year.

True .I think I wasted my money because what is thought in vajram can be done by self study with greater depth...only some initial guidance is required nothing more than that. N yes I want to add one more point if someone is planning to do optional coaching along with GS classes then I think u have to give ur approx 6 hrs in coaching plus ur day to day activities.Then how much time u can manage if u r planning to give UPSC after 1 year...N that too they will complete ur syllabus by last week of April if u join july batch..N in june u have to appear for prelims...

Mam , I want to join coaching but I am confused between ALS IAS and Vajiram and ravi coaching? With which I should go? Answer me as soon as possible..

Very nice review and analysis mam . I didnt join Vajirao and Ravi till now but yes I trust your review after attending your courses in unacademy ( both in free and plus platform) . Especially the current one in Plus platform ( NCERT rock solid foundation 6- 12 ) . Amazing course . I didnt go through NCERT after that . Just revised the class videos and is able to perform better in test series. Thanks for your amazing course and amazing lessons. I highly recommend all you courses and especially this NCERT one . Every serius candidate should join it once .

To be frank after attending coaching I'm so very confident and better placed than many others. I won't say that it will guarantee ur selection but to be honest if u study hard during coaching itself, u will be definitely understand that u r better frm a person and closer to selection who has not taken any coaching and hasn't worked hard enough. Also, don't blindly follow any xyz online or offline course cos I've seen many ppl who teach distorted version of syllabus and history to students,which actually is fatal. So BEWARE. Always study from a well known, reputed and responsible source.

Yes coaching doesn’t matter!!! If with help of coaching peoples clear this exam then where’s other peoples goes because hardly in every coaching have only few selected candidates ,so the main key to qualify this exam is only # self study + hard work+ dedication

Ma'am , in general, UPSC preparation should be done in a group of 3-4 aspirants. Only condition is that these aspirants must have almost same energy level and they must not criticize one another. Although they can have a positive comment on any issue. Why this? This is because, At the end of day If you become IAS, IPS etc. You need to work with peer group. so, it is better to start now. Would be doing this? Whatever is the answer, Please reply if possible.

Vision is far better than vajiram!! Vajiram never gives any post video lecture if a student couldnt go to that class..as a result of which he misses the track.. U r talking about seats??? U wont be able to sit even.. Honestly telling u friends ..vajiram gives u nothing..ask any vajiram student..in the end they go for Vision PT 365,Mains 365,writting skills is vision etc... Vajiram takes a lot of time to complete the syllabus..i had done optional in vaji...so i can tell u 4m my exprience

jagdeep singh that would be good..but the thing is that..whole compilation of subjects u wont be getting in an individual one..instead choose a one who gives a comprehensive one..one more disadvantage of individual coaching is that they take more time to complete the syllabus..which will hamper u in the end..because revision is the key to success in UPSC

I'm self-studying, but occasionally I believe that in order to learn and grasp things simply, I need to have narratives in the back of my mind. My quest of knowledge has failed to produce results at a stag where it becomes incredibly tough to comprehend and understand things. What should I do: enroll in Vajiram and Ravi coaching or not? Online coaching vs. offline coaching: which is preferable for me? I've been doing the preparation on my own for the previous six months. As UPSC is such a lengthy road, it's getting harder and harder every day, and occasionally I lose my appetite. Being effective with things is becoming really challenging.

First grasp all the basics and then go for coaching. Nobody tells the benefits of the coaching. Coaching give confidence. Go for only GS and optional coaching. Do csat by yourself.
