I tried this and I yawned instantly. But what I need to ask is - I was looking with both eyes to 3 o'clock, i.e. to the right and just that. Is that correct? Looking to the left would be 9 o' clock. Thx for explaining.

I was skeptical. KZread recommended this to me, no idea why because it’s not my thing, BUT Just tried this and it’s unbelievable… at first nothing happened after getting into position and moving my eyes towards three o clock… I felt stupid but just kept the position… and about 90 seconds in I had the biggest SIGH (the kind where you suck in three breaths like after crying) and exhaled. I feel utterly relaxed and amazing. THANK YOU

The Vagus Nerve Reset - 1. Lay down, settle and focus your attention and awareness to the presence of your hands behind the base of your head; where your head and your skull meets. 2. Move your eyes in the direction of 3 o’clock. 3. Maintain until you: Yawn, Swallow or Sigh. (Note: depending how stressed your nervous system is, this can take 10 seconds to 2 or 3 minutes). That’s it. Thanks Renee Ostertag.

Hi. I'm not sure why KZread's algorithm suggested this video for me. It's not related to anything else I've looked up or watched. However, I happened to have had severe experiences with my vagus nerve. One so severe I blacked out at work after hitting my ankle bone. Later, I was told I turned gray and they couldn't get a pulse on me. I have a lot of suppressed stress due to family issues, marriage and trying to live above it all. My pain tolerance is very high and I believe it does more harm than good sometimes. No medical professional has ever informed me of any of this. Actually, I had no idea it was tied to stress. Thank you.

yes the medical profession don't even get an hour in their 7+ year education to learn about life trauma (rather than acute obvious trauma). Maybe listen to Gabor Mate and Peter Levine among others to understand how you ended up there. Maybe your personality leads you to more stress than needed as well. Good luck.

I noticed that all the anxiety instantly vanished and I started feeling a lot more relaxed, to the point where I felt super confident to have any conversation at all wit anybody.
