I love how they made sure to show every soldier giving Daemon a nod. No matter how hard the situation is, they loved and respected their prince, who fought as fiercely as any man beside him.

Love how Corlys and Laenor are two of the only people whom Daemon sincerely respects. Both men have had Daemon’s back and supported him when others, like say Vaemond or Otto would happily abandon him

not really. book dany's dragons were patterned of like arrax or even seasmoke. show dany's dragon was resized to match something like older dragons like meleys or even vhagar, for dramatic purposes. book dany's dragon is sufficient for brief attacks like seasmoke and messenger duties like arrax.

No they wouldn’t, Caraxes’ fire is much stronger than Dany’s dragons. Caraxes can literally vaporize people, which Dany’s dragons were never able to do, but still can’t collapse the caves.

@@sixeyesheavens7 Actually, Drogon is only like half the size of Meleys, although it may not seem like it. Meleys was massive, Vhagar is just even more massive. He is absolutely nowhere near the size of Vhagar and is only slightly larger than Syrax.

Vaemond's armor didn't have any dirt or scratch on it which shows he hasnt been fighting while Corlys and Laenor was. Master of complaints was a soild burn

Vaemond for all of his flaws is a well spoken character, his actor is also incredible.

He's a bit of a hypocrite but he's no coward. He fought for his claim for House Velaryon but really wanted take power from his brother since he is a second son. I don't like how petty he was especially at his niece's funeral but he spoke out the truth during his last moments even through they were insults, no one could really refute his words so Daemon cuts off his head.

One change i do like for the show is Laenor actually being a knight and fighting as one. Unlike in the books where he was just knighted a fortnight before his wedding to Rhaenyra and never so much as set foot on a battlefield. Also 1:22 "Joffrey Velaryon." Is Rhaenyra's youngest son by Laenor/Harwin a time traveler?

Well prior to the Doom, the Dragons were the source of power for the 2000-year reign of the Valyrian Empire in Essos. And they did subject 6 of the 7 kingdoms of Westeros. How Dorne managed to maintain their independence despite the Dragons was a feat onto themselves. Point is, with the Dragons, the 3 remaining Houses of Valyria felt like they were invincible. The only thing that could bring them down was each other with the Dance of the Dragons.

Vaemond was a fool and literally lost his head for it.

I think Vaemond was referring to the animosity between Viserys and Daemon, which was preventing them from receiving help from King's Landing. At this point, the two brothers weren't on good terms, and Daemon goes against Viserys's authority to participate in the war. That's why Viserys doesn't send reinforcements until the very end. Likewise, Daemon probably refused to request any aid from Viserys as he wants to use this chance to prove himself and his brother helping him would ruin that.

@@megalize6353 He didn't care about the crabfeeder at first, but he might have come around eventually, especially once he finds out how badly the war was going. But I think Daemon being involved caused him to turn a blind eye out of spite. He was probably like, "Oh, the Velaryons have allied with Daemon? Well, count me out of this war then, because I want nothing to do with this ungrateful brother of mine." In the end, he only gave in after three whole years.

Viserys honestly wasn't bothered after many, many complaints from Corlys before and it was a big problem, his fleet, his people were under constant attacks, but he thought that time will fix it. Which was a sh*t idea to begin with. So I think that Daemon was the push Viserys needed.

@@megalize6353 the war was not going well and Daemon is the commander, therefore it's pretty natural that people direct the blame at him since he is in charge.

This whole crabfeeder storyline was implemented with cartoonish incompetence. It's like they put zero thought in to it. GoT would never have been such a success if it featured such poorly conceived and executed trash. This level of a blunder is something you would expect to see in some low-budget TV sitcom with delusions of grandeur. I see this more and more, in most new movies and shows. Did all of the competent writers die from covid? Did they get fired due to mandates? It could be that the same qualities that would make someone an amazing writer are the same as those which would see someone refusing the vaccine. Did the mandate weed out all of the talent, leaving only incompetent sheep? Maybe all of the real talent got cancelled by the woke mob for some imagined offense?
