Agree, it’s neat and fair. Each product is representing the high-end technology of the company, and Deebot is working clearly better than the other two.

I'm considering it as well. What kind of robot did you have before if you don't mind me asking?

I came here cause I returned my OZMO 950 as it is faulty, and saw the Roomba was a recommended competitor. glad I came here... See my Deebot works flawlessly while cleaning, but is unable to return to its base station, no matter where I put it. It ends up going onto the base station at a slight angle, leaving it unable to dock, after which it gets confused and randomly goes around the house until it runs out of battery. Ecovacs should increase the charging pad size to avoid this, as well as have it re-attempt to dock or wait for its owner. Anyway, I really did love my OZMO 950, so after watching this I'll definitely get another one. Tbh I wanted to do so anyway. My issue doesn't seem like a widespread issue, so hopefully my replacement will be flawless :)

I think this is a pretty good review and I don’t see any unfairness as those are already best flagship ones from each brand in the market. I love the dedicated testing and it looks very clear to me. Thank you for the good review again.

Note: The Deebot cannot create no-go zone LINES, only rectangles. You also cannot ROTATE the said no-go boxes. So any angled furniture you don't want the robot getting stuck under and you're stuck drawing several overlapping boxes to try to cover the angled area to some degree. This will confuse the robot though.

Hello, thank you for the review. But looking at it Roborock S5 is already almost 2 years old while Ozmo 950 is more recent. Would it be possible to do a review with the Roborock S5 Max instead of version S5? There aren't many reviews in English for these and I believe it would be beneficial. The new Roborock model already has most of the identified missing features, with some extras.

Like mentioned before this is not a good comparison test. Latest high end models from the 3 manufacturers should be used. Unless the older models perform better then the 950, only then I can find this useful. Can you do the same video but then with the latest flagships of Roborock and Irobot?

In my experience, the Deebot 950 is not that much of a winner over the S5. Firmware updates seem to come quite regularly from Roborock for the S5, and the mapping is phenomenal with the S5. The Deebot is several hundred more dollars. I'm not sure the performance is that much better for the price differential. Now that I have used the S6, which is in the same price class as the Deebot, the winner is clear. The S6 is the best on the market

Thanks for your video. Can you do one on actually doing the programming.I have had my new vac sitting for eight months and finally gathered up courage to unpack. Had to get help to initialise it, and now dreading the actual use of it. Yes, as you may have guessed, I am not tech savvy. Trying to ove with the times, and need something to assist with cleaning floors, tiles, and carpets. Thank you.

I cant get my ozmo 950 connected to the app with three different devices says this device is not compatible. Android 8,9 & 6. On the box it says compatible with android 4.0 or later-FALSE. Then I borrowed someones device and the app installed, but the setup process would not work. After lots of tries. Called customer support and he was clueless and I felt like I was being scammed, then he hung up on me after not sending him screenshots of all my wifi info. I told him I will tell you what is on the screen, but he insisted screenshots. Another reviewer said they had him set up remote desktop. And I keep hearing about app permissions. The ecovacs home app is rated 2 stars. This has been a major hedache, and I still can only press the button on the vac for a cleaning. "Update" they updated the app and now all of my devices can get the app, but you can not connect with a hidden network.

Ecovacs app used to be pretty bad. The latest redesign is a significant improvement in every metric. Are you using the Ecovacs Home app? There are several Ecovacs apps listed on the Play Store and it can be a bit confusing to figure out which one is right. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eco.global.app

Note new s4 and s6 support multiple floors

Idk why you’re comparing brand new debot to an old roborock. The 6max and the s5max would be a better option. And when the 5s came out it dominated. You kinda sound like a deebot fanboy. How much they pay you?

did you check when the video was released? Pretty sure s6max and s5max were not released back then. S6 (non-Max) was though, so a point should be made about that.

Lidar is so terrible and outdated now, why those chinese companies still using this system? Is it cheaper than camera + sensors?
