So interesting to watch - but I'd much rather hear the sound of your machinery and craftsmanship than that background music.

I see it so often people using their calipers to scribe lines it is the worst thing you can do to your calipers....

I still have all my editions of Strictly IC Magazine. All 84. Emilio Lazarus(SP?) from Hungary built a model turbine engine with a fully functional afterburner, way before any model turbines had hit the market. He also hand machined and built 5 CO2 airplane motors that would all fit in a Contact cold capsule, one was a 7 cylinder radial. One of my editions of Strictly IC has that story. Massive info in those old magazines about making piston rings, pistons, bushed rods,, , Strictly Internal Combustion stuff. One story tells you how to create a heavy metal square punch,,for punching square holes in thick metal, and it's not what you would have thought of, at that time.

Making a vise stop would help when making multiple of the same part. Pretty simple design.

It’s better to drill 2 con rod bolts, then cut a piece of big end bearing, then mate both parts with bolts and drill a final rod pin bore.
