To be honest, the navigation feature seems to be useless or rarely of use even if its a Touring bike, because most of the people Mount the Phone in front while Touring in which you get to see a whole big view of your surroundings, instead of just an Arrow who will guide you what to do... You already do the same in your 650 so you also know this. The useful features for me are: - Watch (I've trimmed the Kids watch and pasted it on my handle using Rubber Gum) - Mileage - Bike/Oil Temperature Basically, all those things which are related to Bike's condition mainly... like TPMS too... Thanks for sharing ..

Agree with you with mobile use... it looks cool also i guess for people to have that screen in front of it.. but its mindset.. if info is main reason then this will also solve purpose if it works properly..... Using phone continuous in day time , heats the phone too much as its not meant for full day GPS service ... but yeah whichever solve the purpose makes the cut

Keep the background app settings on navigation will work fine even with phone screen off i also faced this issue with navigation initially. But i think google maps could have been a better option mapmyindia is still not that accurate also it is not updated as google maps.

Bhai, latest android version kills app's background activity to optimise the battery usage. You need to allow the Suzuki app to run in the background. Go to settings, App, find the Suzuki app, find battery option and disable restrictions and optimization. Set it to unrestricted. In your phone it might be a little different but the concept is same. It should allow you keep your phone off while navigating via console. If it did not work then use this app in the phone having older android version. It will definitely work.

What is the tyre pressure you are keeping for VStrom for riding on roads? 22/29 recommended by Suzuki sounds low.

You need to check your phone settings, there will be a option saying " keep the app running in background while screen off ". Please check your phone settings thoroughly. Activate the option by selecting the perticular suzuki app. After that you should be good to go. I'm using an android phone. I have the option in my settings. Every android phone does. Not sure about iPhone. Don't have the budget to explore the device (iphone). Not value for money 4 me. 😌👍

Agar phone ka screen on rakhna padta hai to phir phone ko hi handle bar me laga ke dekh sakte hai...phir to inbuilt navigation ki jarurat hi kya hai DJ bhai..

yes true.. but then you need holder, water proofing .. your phone can be safe inside the pocket or bag..... but someone told me there is an option to switch phone and it still works .. will check and update !!!

Same gixxer ye kya bat hui kuch to differ karo. Aur jo instrument cluster he vo to bhai sab se bakvas kya 100rs. K toy game jesa lag raha he. 99 games. Access me same. Aur ab yaha bhi vahi. . At least Raider jesa bhi mast lagta.
