സ്വന്തം ആയി വീട് വാങ്ങാതെ rent കൊടുത്തു ജീവിക്കുമ്പോൾ.. നമ്മൾ കൊടുക്കുന്ന rent മറ്റൊരാളിന്റെ ഹോം ലോൺ അടക്കുക ആണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്.. ആ rent തിരിച്ചു കിട്ടുന്നില്ല.. നേരെ മറിച്ചു 30 വര്ഷം കഴിയുമ്പോൾ 40 ലക്ഷത്തിനു പകരം 60 ഓ 80 ഓ ആയിട്ടുണ്ടാകും വീടിന്റെ വില.

Please do not believe this guy. He is a fraud. I saw his instagram link from the description and followed him. Then he followed me back and started chatting with me. Then he introduced a scheme. Invest 9700 Rs and he will make it 97000 Rs within 24 Hours. There is no additional fee for that. I believed this guy because, he appeared in prominent channels and made so many good youtube videos. He took 9700 Rs first and then he asked to transfer 15000 as part of the processing. Then I paid 15000. All this happened within 24 hours. Then he asked me to install a digital wallet and showed me the money credited there. Before this he agreed that there is no more payment required and you will get your money soon. After showing the money in the wallet, he told me that the company is asking to pay Vat to release the money and vat amount is $1000. Then I confirmed that he is cheating. I stopped there and I did not paid. I told him - I understood that you are a cheater, Even though he tried to convince me to get $ 1000 from me. My friends, please take care and please do not fell in to the traps like this. I have all the chat history in my Instagram. It happened on 24- 10-2022.

@@mylove242globally Not really. I stay in an apartment which costs around 80+ lacs to buy. EMI for full 80 lacs would be around 70,000(for 20 years). But the rent is 24000. I can effectively invest 46000 rupees by renting. But there are more to this equation. EMI most probably would stay the same for next 20 years. Rent would go up atleast by inflation rate (or more). So its not a very simple Yes/No incase you are buying home for living in it.

Bro it's all mindset. People want home not to live but just show off others.

It is not the size or grandness of your house that matters, it is how happy and peaceful you are living in that house. So having a small house that is affordable helps with that peace and happiness

@Sharique, if you were able to guide an youngster and instill the sense of responsibility (referring to the example you picked up) it is really great. I am assuming this would have happened to many youngsters.

One need to have diversified portfolio. House/ Real estate is also an asset class where one should have investment. The problem with real estate is you need a lot of capital, unlike FD, Mutual fund, stock etc

This is the best advise Indians need generally ! Paying EMI on an interest rate more that 6-7% is disastrous. The supposed interest payment can be invested in other funds to generate more savings ! Even if you need a house loan portion should be very less like 20-30% maximum.

Please do not believe this guy. He is a fraud. I saw his instagram link from the description and followed him. Then he followed me back and started chatting with me. Then he introduced a scheme. Invest 9700 Rs and he will make it 97000 Rs within 24 Hours. There is no additional fee for that. I believed this guy because, he appeared in prominent channels and made so many good youtube videos. He took 9700 Rs first and then he asked to transfer 15000 as part of the processing. Then I paid 15000. All this happened within 24 hours. Then he asked me to install a digital wallet and showed me the money credited there. Before this he agreed that there is no more payment required and you will get your money soon. After showing the money in the wallet, he told me that the company is asking to pay Vat to release the money and vat amount is $1000. Then I confirmed that he is cheating. I stopped there and I did not paid. I told him - I understood that you are a cheater, Even though he tried to convince me to get $ 1000 from me. My friends, please take care and please do not fell in to the traps like this. I have all the chat history in my Instagram. It happened on 24- 10-2022.

I am sixty plus and I can vouch the guy talks sense especially with regard to house ownership. I remember some twenty years ago a friend from another state , who at that point in time would have been at least four times wealthier than me visiting my house and while leaving asking me “ why do you need such a big house? “ . Mind you my house was not big by Kerala standards!

Dear sir. When it comes to kerala it's not the same kind of culture. (I have been living out side kerala for last 17yrs) for eg in Tamil Nadu I had seen many if my friends house rooms are small congested and less in numbers according to the no of persons living there. At some places their parents sleep in the drawing room. Or sister sleeps with parents. Or when a guest visits them more than one loose their bedroom and the will have to manage with their drawing room Sofa. For them this is quite ok. Will we be able to manage this. But yes we malayalis are building most of the house to brag.

No, നിങ്ങൽ വാടക വീടിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നു,ഒരു നല്ല ശമ്പളമുള്ള ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന ആളാന്,നല്ലൊരു വാഹനവും ഉണ്ട്,പിന്നെ നല്ല സ്വഭാവംവും ഉണ്ട് എങ്കിൽ പെൺ കിട്ടാധിരിക്കുമോ? അധ് വാടക വീടിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ടുള്ള പ്രശ്നം എല്ല.അത്ര simple ആയി അതിനെ കാണാൻ പറ്റത്തില്ല.

Me and family spend last 25 year in gulf after that now we build a small house (1400 sqft) and upstair given for rent, I always love small house like colonial style
