Good one. So this one protects from over /under voltage and over current. But it doesn't protect from surge voltage caused by lightening because those need Voltage Surge Protection Device .. But even those voltage surge protection device can protect only from voltage surges coming from the nearby transformers. If one has to protect from high voltages induced from lightening, then one needs lightening arrestor..But those listening arrestor (in combination with voltage surge protector) needs a dedicatee ground rod connection which itself needs to be at least 5 feet away from the/any building or else high voltage from lightning can burn the RCC pillar underneath due to the heat given by high voltage coming from lightening
