The good news is I think that they aren't going to try really. I believe the goal is to prohibit more consumer stuff and ensure that the aim is on commercial. We will see as time goes on who gets approved and denied and that will speak for it.

It's designed to keep the mom and pop companies out. Daniel Defense currently markets and sells printed suppressors (DD Wave). You can bet that DD didn't get that same email.

I'm betting only the small companies that don't have large contracts received them, if anyone past V received one at all.

It's true. Luckily they allow 3D printing, just for commercial purposes. No DIY kits and such.

Edited after finishing the video. Great overview, and very sad that's the stance they are taking.

I totally agree. KAK and the peeps there are top tier.

Nevada has always been pretty great for gun owners since I’ve lived here, so it didn’t ever occur to me to check any 3d printing/ “ghost gun” restrictions here. It seems like buying or selling unserialized receivers is now illegal here, but I couldn’t find any clear indication that personal manufacturing for personal use was now banned, and it looks like the law at large is getting an attempt at being overturned, so I guess we will see.

Fingers crossed that it's just aimed towards focusing on commercial / manufacturers. Although i do think they should have a conglomerate table of 3d printing information

I absolutely agree. I think it's targeting the hobby level and trying to adapt off the cuff to ensure it's all industry/commercial level stuff

Yeah but why would they do that either? We saw what these types did with Hoffmans forced reset trigger. They paid thousands of dollars to have molds made and packaging and were beaten by the free brigade so they used the law to try and stop him. This is what dipshits that are trying to charge for free shit always do. We don't need to pay hundreds of dollars for something that costs a penny to make. Simple. They should focus their efforts on things we can't currently make. Take the power of the market from all of the people who will be bent by the P3d0s in power to subvert our freedoms.

Dave, since clarified that 3D printing is okay, as long as it's something for the industry and not intended for at home/ final product. They essentially just don't want the DIY stuff.
