It really was a nice store. I had to make a video once I saw this place in the mall.
According to typical customer behavior in all ex-Soviet countries located on the south , supermarkets are for rich people and foreigners. Locals buy food on the bazaars, because most of food are local, fresh and have good quality, even selling without pretty packaging. They use supermarkets only for industrial products, such as washing powders and personal care items, that's reflected on the shelves. I also noticed on Russian titles on all signs, under the Uzbek ones, even though Russian is not official language in Uzbekistan.

I think this seems stocked like the typical grocery stores where I live (interior British Columbia, city of about 100,000). A big difference is that this store has laundry powder! And Persil, which I have read is good for hard water. Hard to find any laundry detergent that is unscented, and they are always liquid. Thanks for the tour!

Wow, Thank you.
It seems to me it would be interesting to compare printed prices on the shelves with the same prices on the receipt received from the cashier after payment. Let's buy 3-5 items in a Russian supermarket and compare final prices and total amount. I mean that in Russian stores we can see final amounts to pay whout value added tax or other additional taxes which a cashier must add in many other countries. It makes possible to compare prices correct between countrys.
As for KitKat, I think it was never too popular in Russia. It has always been considered cheap, worse-than-your-average-candy-bar confectionary. Partly because it has wafers which make it light. Oh, that reminds me. "Mars" once had an ad for its Milky Way bars. They put the bars into milk and said that the bars were so light they could float in milk! But in Russia, everyone knows what floats well: it's shit. There's an old saying, "shit doesn't drown". So Milky Way was not too popular either...
you may want to check Yandex Market or Ozon - lot's of Kitkats
