Uzbekistan Airways FOOD REVIEW - Flying from Bangkok to Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Bangkok → Tashkent
In this video we traveled from Bangkok to Tashkent on Uzbekistan Airways... I hadn't even really heard of Uzbekistan Airways before taking my first flight with them.
The airplane was a little bit on the older side, no personal tv's, which wasn't a problem for me since it wasn't that long of a flight, but with kind of aged bucket seats.
For dinner there was a choice of fish or chicken, I chose the chicken though I had a bite of the fish. The chicken came in patty form, in tomato sauce. They were alright, not the best airplane food I've ever had, but not bad.
We arrived safely in the middle of the night at Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, and were met by someone to escort us through customs - thank you Bekruz for arranging that - it was very convenient.
In Tashkent, we stayed at Wyndham Tashkent Hotel (aff link: goo.gl/zTX5FA)
Overall, flight on Uzbekistan Airways was alright, but nothing extraordinary.
Thank you for watching this airline travel review!

@ 4:29 “that’s an ageing plane ✈️ that we got on this flight, but the peanuts 🥜 were good” 🤣 Mark always finds something positive to say ❤️ 🇺🇿

I love that about Mark as I also believe that there is a positive in everything. I'm terminally ill and I look for positives if they aren't so easy to recognise. It makes what I'm going through a lot easier. We should always remember and appreciate we can do instead of focusing on what we can't do.

So maybe many people can learn and travel for food too like you do. That was my dream. Thankyou mark keep going and god bless you and your family.
Welcome. Nice to hear about my country. I love my country Tashkent.
Getting good knowledge wth your vlogs Sir
The chicken “burgers” are called “kotlety” (котлеты). Traditional Russian menu item usually paired with mashed potatoes or sometimes pasta. It’s hamburger meat (chicken, or beef) with diced onions, sometimes carrots, salt, black pepper and fried on a skillet with a little oil (not deep fried). I think sometimes they can be cooked on steam (парные котлеты). I am Russian but I grew up in Uzbekistan so in our household a variety of ethnic foods was prepared. Also, authentic Uzbeki food is the best! Go to some village and eat in some household...
Such an exotic airline!
Thanks for the video guys, awesome job saw the series love narration and the food mama Mia, I am betting it tasted great look very similar to our Barbacoa de borrego o birria de borrego loved it 👍
