UX South Bay: Tiffany Eaton - How to create a stellar portfolio presentation
Ғылым және технология
Tiffany Eaton, Interaction Designer at Google, will talk about best practices and how to position yourself as a designer in portfolio presentations so you can get the design job you’ve always wanted.
“A portfolio presentation is a multi-faceted experience to show employers the whole package of who you are and the potential of what you can bring to the table. Designers who can make great work AND communicate are better than those who do one or the other. By sharing my experiences interviewing with multiple companies, and taking part in university outreach/recruitment at work, I am here to show you how to create compelling portfolio presentations to get your next dream job or to tell better stories around your work.”

This is so so helpful I’ll be using lessons I learned from this as I go into interviews in the next month or so :)
Thanks so much for sharing - this SO helpful!
It's insane the level of preparation required for these jobs. These jobs definitely pay well so it makes sense companies put this level of effort into hiring. Luckily I've been able to get work without having to do this.
