A Stop motion Animation consisting of 2500 still pictures, made purely out of clay.
Shot with a Canon EOS 600D and animated in Dragonframe. Edited in Photoshop and Sony Vegas Pro 14. All sound effects recorded with my BlueYeti - in my bedroom - inside a small pillow fort. Budget sound-proofing. I used PLASTILINA mixed with a little bit of FIMO to get the perfect clay!

?Mystery? Id suggest viewing some animation tutorials. Dont rush. Guldies video most likely took thousands of frames. Faster actions take less frames slower actions take more. Instead of just teleporting around you should add gradual development. Keep working on it and youll eventually get something good out of it

this could have been me. I started animating like this at age 12 but nobody payed attention and I got sent to boarding school and only started animating again in my twenties after a engineering and philosophy degree. Now I have to balance work and trying to recover my lost passion

N'ahemah you’re not dumb. Ultimately, the only defining factor to what art is is your experience of it. Whatever the artist does to create that experience, (whether emotional, thought provoking, or otherwise) is the intent of the art. But art that is lovely to behold without a detailed knowledge of the intent is just as valuable. It serves as the basis of the interaction comes with art.

It's very likely just little kids who are a bit scared of the imagery. It really doesn't matter. There are plenty people watching this at the right age to appreciate this art piece for what it is. :)

how do you remove the shadows of the support sticks you have? can you edit out the shadows or something? is that a feature in photoshop? BTW your animation is INSANE

STOP-MOTION animator, like I like he's job but like there is a lot of animation styles, so it's kinda hard to say who it's the best animator in the world, since there's at least 1000 best animator on each style

@Tio Lloyd i know this reply is late as hell, but i consider stop motion to be traditional 3D animation. i know there’s other types of animation styles out there, such as frame by frame, paper, flash, etc., but i think that clay stop motion is the most time consuming and physical frustrating one there is. of course there’s other amazing animators out there, i know a handful myself, i just personally admire his work because of how creative he is and how much he puts stop motion on its head. it’s just a personal opinion and not a fact :))
If they ever reboot Gumby in stop motion, you should definitely be part of the crew.
Everything about this is so amazing the sculptures are so smooth and the sound matches up so well

Dude the person who created this is so talented. There’s not storyline or anything they are just trying to flex how mad talented they are. Edit: And I like that about his work! I like how he uses a lot of wacky physics that change, creates some really interesting animations. Not knowing what to expect next.

Many of the videos were reccomended to KZread kids and the parents probably were mad that it scared their children. Even so, this artist put so much time and effort into this and he/she doesn't deserve all the hate.
