UTMB TDS 2022 | Taking REVENGE on the MOUNTAIN

Спорт

TDS is the third longest race at UTMB week after PTL and UTMB. Arguably however, it is tougher than the main UTMB race.
I have DNF'd this race once in 2019 and had the race pulled from under me in 2020 and 2021. This was payback time. I was there for one reason only, to cross that finish line once and for all.
Chamonix was as vibrant and exciting as ever. We met up with old friends and new. We watched the top elite runners and cheered in the back of the packers and we had a blast.
Look out for Loyd from @Run4Adventure , @BenParkes , @SarahPlace , David from @filmmytrailrun and @BillyYang. As well as Kilian Jornet, Jim Walmsley, Tom Evans, Katie Shide, Jonathan Albon, Mark Derbyshire and @Jay Grady from the Trail and Error Podcast.

Great video Stephen, genuinely excellent for those of us yet to do it in helping us visualise the route. Huge respect for you for finishing. But I think we need to leave the elite runners alone and let them do their thing., especially near the finish line. I can’t seem to comment on one of your videos without asking technical questions (sorry!!) - Did you stow away your 360 camera in your pole quill on your back when not in use? Was it the x2 you used and how did you keep the lenses so clean?!?!

  • @FilmMyRun

    Жыл бұрын

Hi Phil. First of all thank you. Secondly, yes I tend to use the Salomon quiver for storing the 360 camera when not in use. I like to carry my poles on my race belt round my waist. I did used to own the original Insta 360 camera but sold that while back now. Never had the X2. My current 360 cam is the Kandao Qoocam 8k. But it's getting old now and I'm looking to upgrade. Thinking of the Insta 360 One RS one Inch but it's quite expensive. There are rumours of new 360 cameras coming out before the end of the year. So I'm going to hold off for a bit and see what transpires.
