Race Details: 56km, 3,500 metres elevation. From ORSIÈRES, Switzerland to CHAMONIX, France.
Not overly edited, just in the moment with me out there. Due to some pocket filming draining my battery the experience here skips from around 33km in to the finish. But WHAT a finish!

It's enjoyable, sadly the music drowns you out a lot
Awesome effort Charlotte! Just a thought, the sections throughout your video without the music were so much nicer to watch providing a greater sense of what it was like to be there in my opinion. And where the music was added and you were talking, it is very hard to hear you, and I would like to hear what you're saying. Thanks again for the video!
Those views in the mountains especially were beyond stunning! Congratulations Charlotte on an incredible achievement. I think you're amazing :) x

Well done Charlotte - you are a fantastic athlete & a brilliant role model! 🤩I live in the same village as you & often see you on a training run when I am out running😁 I love the way you have a plan, work hard but are very real about the challenges💪

Congratulations - massive achievement! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I had a bit of trouble hearing you through your background music - something to perhaps consider for future videos!

Thank you!
Well done on your amazing race. I’d love to do something similar one day but always thought it was “for the pros”. Now you’ve inspired me. Are you able to share what we’re the qualifying races that enabled you to qualify?
Well done! Great achievement, looks electrifying and with those views amazing.. the Chamonix occ is on my dream run list. Have a utmb 50k in wales to get a taster in May.. so who knows one day maybe 🤞🏼 Thanks sharing your run.

@@CharlotteClarkeUK oh yeah the bigger runs would be amazing! Not sure I could talk my old body in to it though 😂 Really looking forward to Wales.. Hoping to get through the training injury free for that one.. good luck on your next run.. think you’ll find Wales UTS a breeze after occ. 👍🏼
That is and epic achievement Charlotte! Well done. Haven't done a marathon since 1993 (when I was 20) but this has made me very keen to sign back up to one and build to the OCC too. At 49 now (still running and cycling regularly) devising a 3yr plan. Did you see many old uns out on course? Thanks so much for the inspiration!

@@CharlotteClarkeUK Thanks for the reply! Have just been searching how to qualify 😊 May become a 5 year plan because of that. But at least it's a plan. Around 105 guys in the 50-54M OCC age cat this year so I'll aim for top 100 😂
